CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  The new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue went live on Tuesday and the CASEing the Catty Crew are very excited to be sharing some new inspiration from it.  This week we are CASEing from the Artistic Expressions section, pages 106-159.  You may have arrived here from Shannon’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

CTC232

With so many options how do you choose?  I eventually decided on a card that only just made it into the range of pages we had to pick from, page 158.

I liked the layout and the technique but went with different colours.

My card base is one of the new 2019-2021 In Colours, Seaside Spray.  I’ve added a layer of vellum which has been embossed with the Subtle Embossing Folder and a layer of Basic Gray which has also been embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  I’ve die cut a Stitched Label Framelit from Whisper White card stock and stamped some flowers from the Love What You Do stamp set.

The flowers have been silver heat embossed then coloured with Rococo Rose using an Aqua Painter then popped up on dimensionals.  The banner has been White heat embossed on Smoky Slate card stock then I’ve created a shadow effect on the letters by stamping Smoky Slate slightly offset.  The “hello” is from the Make a Difference stamp set.

Next up tonight is Julia’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  This is our last blog hop CASEing from the 2018-2019 Annual Catalogue and 2019 Occasions Catalogue.  You have one day left to purchase any of your favourite retiring products before they are gone for good.  But the good news is that the new 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue starts on the 4th June.  Have you got your copy of the new catalogue yet?

You may have arrived here from Elizabeth’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post. This week we can CASE Anything from either retiring Catalogues!!!  How do you pick one thing to CASE from so many gorgeous projects? CTC231

This week I’ve CASEd a colour combination from the “Sunshine” card on page 113 of the Annual Catalogue.

2018 AC P113

The colours of this card are Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Crushed Curry, Lemon Lime Twist and Coastal Cabana.  I’ve substituted Lovely Lipstick with Melon Mambo and Crushed Curry with Pineapple Punch to make a fun and bright Floating Frame card.

Recently when I was in Auckland I searched every Countdown store looking for Press N Seal.  I eventually found some so I thought it was about time to used it.

I stamped then die cut the images from the Tropical Chic stamp set, arranged them on my Whisper White card stock then got out my Press N Seal.  A Stitched Rectangle has been die cut from the middle of my images where I’ve stamped the sentiment from the Stitched All Round stamp set.

Then I turned the rectangle I’d cut out into another card.  I’ve added a stitched frame in Grapefruit Grove and a sentiment from Fable Friends.

I’ve used some Iridescent Sequins to fill in any gaps between my images.

Next up tonight is Julia’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.

ESAD 2019 – 2020 Annual Catalogue Sneak Peek Blog Hop

#stampin_cat #esad #comesailaway #memoriesandmore #stampinup

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Tonight I’m hopping with 24 talented demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand showcasing new products from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue.  We are going to give you a sneak peek of some of the beautiful new products available from 4th June.  You may have come from Jo Weedon’s amazing project, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.  There’s also a list of participants at the bottom of my Blog incase you get lost along the way.

I know a few of us struggle with male themed cards so tonight I’ll show you a quick and easy way to make several male cards using the new Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.   Half a pack of Memories & More Cards has made 16 cards in total.

#stampin_cat #esad #comesailaway #memoriesandmore #stampinup

There’s two sizes of Memories & More cards, 3″ x 4″ and 4″ x 6″.  The pack includes 50 double sided cards,  4 sticker sheets and 6 beautiful 4″ x 6″ laser-cut specialty cards.  They would work well with the White Assorted Memories & More Cards and Envelopes but I’ve chosen Night of Navy for my card base as I think it’s a little more dramatic than white.

I’ve also used products from the new Come Sail Away Suite on my cards including the Sailing Home stamp set, Smooth Sailing Dies, Night of Navy Baker’s Twine and Sail Away Trinkets.

#stampin_cat #esad #comesailaway #memoriesandmore #stampinup

These 4″ x 6″ cards are so easy to put together.  I’ve used some of the 3″ x 4″ cards over the top of some of the larger cards.  Add on a few embellishments or stickers and you’re done.

#stampin_cat #esad #comesailaway #memoriesandmore #stampinup

Because the Memories & More Cards are double sided it’s hard to choose which side to use.

I’ve used one of the laser-cut specialty cards over the top of a 3″ x 4″ card on the “Hello Friend” card.  Which card is your favourite?

Marvi’s not sure which one he likes the most.

It’s time to hop over to Carly Middleton’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button below.

Thanks for stopping by and thanks for leaving a comment.  I love reading them.
