Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASing the Sale-a-bration Brochure for the last time as this brochure ends on the 28th February. You may have hopped over from Andrea’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd a card on page 14 of the Sale-a-bration brochure.

I’ve changed the colours and added a couple more layers than the sample card.

The first extra layer I’ve added is a piece of Basic White card stock which has been embossed with the Eyelet 3D Embossing Folder. I added some Fresh Freesia ink to the inside of the folder before I ran it through my Cut & Emboss Machine. I’ve created the border of flowers using a die from the Spring Corners Dies and added a piece of Petunia Pop behind it.

The sentiment and die cut is from the Unbounded Love Bundle. I’ve added a strip of 2024-2026 In Colour Petunia Pop DSP behind the sentiment. The sequins are from the SAB brochure and I’ve added a Baker’s Twine bow.

Marvi was on his napping mat. It’s 30* celsius here in Queensland today, yet he still lays in the sun all day.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing a Bundle from the Annual Catalogue this week. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen to use the Sketched Butterflies Bundle and I’ve CASEd a card from page 68 of the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve changed my colours however kept very close to the layout.

My card base is Pretty Peacock followed by a layer of Winter Meadow DSP. I’ve die cut a few butterflies from some Graceful Greenery Vellum and layered them behind the Silver Heat Embossed butterflies. I’ve heat embossed directly onto a piece of Thoughtful Journey DSP giving a similar watercolored look.

Using my Pretty Peacock Stampin’ Write Marker I’ve added a few splatters to the card before adding the sentiment. To finish off my card I’ve used some Pretty Peacock Adhesive-Backed Sequins.

Marvi was fast asleep on his mat so I took a quick photo, careful not to wake him up. He tends to dribble while he sleep, as you can probably tell with his slightly open mouth.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing the Storybook Moments Suite, pages 23-29 of the Mini catty. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post

I did order some of this suite however it didn’t arrive in time for me to use on my card so I’ve improvised using the Friendly Seagulls stamp set. I’ve CASEd the “some bunny loves you” card on the above graphic. Hopefully you can see a resemblance, instead of rabbits and lettuce I’ve used seagulls and chips.

My card base is Lost Lagoon followed by a layer of Pool Party then a layer of Timeless Plaid DSP. I’ve used the Country Flowers Bundle to create the table and buckets by stamping Memento Black on some Country Woods DSP.

The seagulls and chips have also been stamped with Memento Black, coloured with Blends then fussy cut. This would be a typical daily scene where I live, near the beach. Seagulls all over the picnic tables fighting for chips.

Marvi had a lot to say about my card this week. Maybe he was telling the seagulls to go away so he could eat the chips?
