Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing the 2025-2026 Annual Catalogue. With so much choice I found it hard to choose which project I was going to CASE.

I started at the back of the catalogue, looking for a project to CASE. After looking all the way through the catty I came back to a card on page 106.

I decided to do a Christmas version of the above card. My class attendees have asked for Christmas, Christmas and more Christmas cards. This would be a fun card to make in class.

I started with a Mossy Meadow card base followed by a Gold Foil layer. I found a large scrap of Basic White and used the Alphabet A La Mode dies to die cut the word “Merry”. I then used the negative space left by the die cut as a stencil. The “Merry” at the top of the card uses Old Olive ink with a blending brush and the bottom “Merry” uses Garden Green ink. Initially I tried to fit my “Merry” onto a circle die cut however my word was too big.

I die cut a second “Merry” then added some Season of Elegance SDSP behind it. The leaves and pine cones are from the new Online Exclusive Delicate Pines bundle, available September 3rd. I’ve finished off my project with a couple of Loose Gold Sequins.

This is the look I got when I disturbed Marvi from his sunny cat nap. I must admit this isn’t the most flattering angle of Marvi. It looks like he has a huge body and a tiny head haha.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing A Punch or Die Project from the Annual Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Monique’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd a card on page 84 of the Annual Catalogue which uses the Extraordinary Flora Bundle.

I’ve chosen the card on the left of the above graphic. Instead of adding the flowers to the middle of the die cut circle I’ve added the flowers around the circle.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Soft Sea Foam which has been stamped with the flower stamp from the Extraordinary Flora stamp set. The die cut circle is from the Stylish Shapes Dies and I’ve Gold Heat Embossed the Happy Birthday sentiment from the Unbounded Love stamp set.

The Extraordinary Flora Washi Tape is big, bright, and beautiful! It’s 3-1/4″ (8.3 cm) wide and features a gorgeous pattern of watercolour florals and botanical images. All you need to do is adhere the washi tape to some Basic White card stock then use the one co-ordinating die to die cut all of these amazing flowers. With such gorgeous flowers how could I limit my card to just one flower. I’ve also added some Gold Flower Accents to tie in with the gold heat embossed sentiment.

Marvi has been much better behaved this week. Here he is taking a cat nap on the lounge. I don’t think he appreciated me waking him up to take a photo.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing A Returning Favourite. You may have hopped over from Monique’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd a card that uses the Lifetime of Love Bundle however I haven’t used any part of the bundle on my card.

I’ve really only CASEd the tag on the above card using all my new Christmas pre-order goodies.

I’ve made a square card this week with a Basic Black card base then a layer of Basic White which has been embossed with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. I’ve added three more layers, Basic Black, Gold Foil Sheet and Modern Christmas SDSP. I’ve added a Large Gold Hoop (part of the Online Exclusive Modern Christmas Suite) which represents the wreath on the sample card.

Next I’ve used the large floral stamp from the Christmas Greenery stamp set and Gold Heat Embossed it. I’ve also added a Gold Heat Embossed sentiment from the Ornamental Christmas stamp set.

I took this photo of Marvi and my card on Friday, when I’m home he usually sleeps all day. But Friday he was demanding, right up in my face meowing, I couldn’t leave a room without him following me, if I sat down he was on my knee (which he rarely does). It took me ages to get a good photo of him so we almost didn’t have a picture of Marvi this week. He acted out all day and even during my Friday night card class. Saturday morning we felt the tremor of a 5.6 magnitude earthquake. I was about 30 minutes from home sitting in a car sales office and felt the whole building shaking. My neighbours said their whole house shook and windows rattled. Maybe Marvi was sensing what was going to happen?
