CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my Blog. Have you had a chance to look through the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue yet? Are you as excited as we are about all the new fabulous goodies? Week 2 of #CTC271 we are taking you inside the Catty and CASEing any project we like. That’s right, CASE anything from the new Catty. With so many options what will you be CASEing this week?

You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I didn’t get too far into the Catty when I came across the card I was going to CASE. Page 9 features the beautiful Boho Indigo Product Medley and I fell in love with the card in the bottom left hand corner.

Page 9

I’ve changed things up a bit as I’m still waiting for this Suite to arrive so I used what I had, which is what CASEing the Catty is all about.

My card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Whisper White. That’s followed by a layer of Misty Moonlight and another layer of Whisper White, both have been embossed with the new Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. My flower pot is an upside down bee hive from the retired stamp set Honey Bee.

I’ve filled my flower pot with just a couple more flowers and leaves than the sample. Some were stamped and die cut, others were just die cuts but they’re all from the brand new Forever Greenery Suite. Leaves don’t always have to be green, I love them in these colours of Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand.

Mr Marvi was all ready for a photo shoot today, looking straight into the camera without any bribery. I did give him a couple of treats afterwards for being such a good model.

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s been much cooler weather here in Queensland this last week with sunny days and cool nights. Mr Marvi has been seeking the sun during the day and seeking the warmth of my bed during the night. I’ve noticed that he snores most nights but not that loud that it keeps me awake.

There’s only 3 days until Stampin’ Up! launch their new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue. If you don’t have a demonstrator and would like a copy of the Catty please let me know. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re excited to give you a sneak peek of the Catty, by CASEing the front cover. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve CASEd the card on the right hand side of the cover, using some fabulous new products.

#stampincat #ctc271 #ingoodtaste #pickapunch #lovelyyou #stampinup

My card base is Thick Whisper White with a layer of Gray Granite. Next I’ve added some new In Good Taste DSP, using the wooden plank image to replicate the stripes of colour on the sample card. This gorgeous DSP has many photographic images and visual textures, I can see I’ll be using a lot of this DSP. I’ve White Heat Embossed a couple of leaf images from the new stamp set, Lovely You.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is stamped in Gray Granite then punched with the new Lovely Labels Pick A Punch. This brand new punch is six punches in one. It has two designs, three widths and you can use any length. How convenient and versatile is that!!! I’ve added a few Woven Threads Sequins to finish off my card.

The inside of the card has a layer of Gray Granite then Whisper White. I’ve stamped the greeting and leaf from Lovely You in Gray Granite.

Marvi didn’t try to destroy my card this week so that must mean he likes it.

CTC270 – Week 2 – Favourite Retiring Punch or Dies

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog. Thanks for joining me for CASEing the Catty. It’s week 2 and the challenge is to create a project using your favourite retiring punches or dies. It’s been a cold weekend here in Queensland with a top temperature of only 17 degrees on Saturday and 20 degrees on Sunday. 20 degrees and under is cold for me, I even had to put the doona back on the bed. But it’s perfect crafting weather and I’m sure you have a favourite retiring product in your craft room. We’d love to see what you create.

You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

#CTC270

I’ve used the retiring Delicate Lace Edgelits and as there’s three different edgelits I’ve made three different cards. I’ve also used 3 out of 5 of the new 2020-2022 In Colours. These dies are still available to purchase at the discounted price of $37.50, which make them great value.

I’ve used the sweet little scallops on the Scalloped Note cards, on page 34 of the Annual catalogue, as my inspiration.

Page 34

My first card uses Smoky Slate and Misty Moonlight card stock. I’ve stamped the leaves from the new Forever Fern stamp set and added some co-ordinating Misty Moonlight 1/4″ Ribbon and 2020-2022 In Colour DSP.

#stampin_cat #ctc270 #delicatelaceedgelits #2020-2022incolours #foreverfern #forevergreenery #stampinup

The next card uses Just Jade as a card base with some Whisper White and some beautiful new Forever Greenery DSP. I’ve also added some co-ordinating ribbon from the Flowers for Every Season Ribbon Combo Pack.

#stampin_cat #ctc270 #delicatelaceedgelits #2020-2022incolours #foreverfern #forevergreenery #stampinup

The last card, which I think is my favourite, uses Bumblebee, Crumb Cake and Very Vanilla card stock and some new In Good Taste DSP. The leaves are stamped in Crumb Cake and are from the new stamp set called Forever Fern. There’s also a very cute co-ordinating Bumblebee Gingham Ribbon.

#stampin_cat #ctc270 #delicatelaceedgelits #2020-2022incolours #foreverfern #forevergreenery #stampinup

I’m not sure if Marvi has a favourite this week. He was more interested in the mug of hot chocolate that was sitting on my craft desk. I’m sure he was hoping to get a taste lol.
