Hello and welcome to my blog. Today in Australia it’s Mother’s Day so Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mum’s out there. Fortunately in Queensland they have lifted some Covid19 restrictions and we are allowed 5 people from the one household to visit others so I was able to see my Mum on her special day.
It’s Week 2 of CASEing our favourite retiring bundle from either the Annual Catalogue or the 2020 Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’m using a bundle that hasn’t seen much love in my craft room and when I say hasn’t seen much love I really mean has never been inked up!!! The “It Starts With Art” bundle is now retiring so I made up for lost time and created 5 cards with it. I’ve also not used the five 2018-2020 In Colours for a while either so I’ve combined both.
My favourite retiring In Colour is Blueberry Bushel. For each of my cards I’ve coloured the images with the five retiring colours and the sentiment is White Heat Embossed on Basic Black card stock.
Lovely Lipstick
Grapefruit Grove with co-ordinating 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon
Pineapple Punch
And Call Me Clover. How cute are these little re-inkers?
I love how these cards have turned out so I’m not sure why I hadn’t used this bundle before. Which one is your favourite?
There’s no clear favourite for Marvi this week which must mean he likes them all.
It’s time to hop over and see Sandra’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Wow – you have certainly made up for lost time. I am truly going to miss these in colours, I love how bright and vibrant they are. Your collection of cards is just gorgeous, thanks for sharing
Wow! What a great set of cards. They showcase the stamp set and in colours so well. Love them!
You so should have inked up before now Peta! Think these are the nicest cards I’ve seen using this set. Poor Marvi can’t handle the colour riot, he prefers just two to choose from!
What a fabulous set of cards, Peta. Love that you used all 5 In Colours in each card, too. Marvi looks like he is hoping for a treat!
