Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop time again. You may have hopped over from Elizabeth or you are starting with me, either way make sure you check out all the Crew’s projects.
I’ve had a very big week this week. On Monday my sister was hit by a car while riding her push bike. She’s ok, nothing broken, just very bruised and sore. And on Friday I had to evacuate from my house because of a bush fire. Marvi and I stayed at my other sister’s house for the night. Thankfully everything was ok when I came home Saturday. Here’s a picture I took at my house about an hour before I left.
This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing the Love & Sympathy section of the Catalogue pages 86-101.
I only make sympathy cards when I need them. Sadly I’ve needed two so far this year. I’ve CASEd the Tranquil Tide card from page 94 of the Annual Catalogue.
I’ve changed my card into an encouragement card rather than a love & sympathy card.
I’ve used Tranquil Tide and Sahara Sand card stock with some touches of Gold
I love the Delicate White Doily behind the Pretty Label Punch. The gold leaves are from the Support Ribbon Framelits.
I fussy cut the Tranquil Tide flowers from the Fresh Florals DSP.
I’ve also used the Garden Trellis Embossing Folder. I think that pattern matches perfectly with the Label Me Pretty stamp.
As usual my assistant Marvi was available for the photo shoot. He thought he might get a snack if he helped me.
I hope you like my project this week. Next up is Sandra, her card is just beautiful.

Oh my goodness what a traumatic week. I hope everything is improving now. Lovely card Peta- love the fussy cut flowers behind the feature. Very clever
Gorgeous card Peta, you can’t beat Tranquil Tide with some gold added to it. I noticed in your blog you didn’t share with your readers that when you packed your car for evacuation you packed your stampin’ supplies! From one diehard to another, I love your priorities! ;0)
Maybe I’ll share that photo next week Megan lol
I love the tranquil tide and Sahara sand combination. It’s always good to find a colour that is comfortable with Sahara sand! Your embellishment cluster is totally gorgeous. All of the details are so beautiful.
I hope this week is more relaxing for you Peta, after your dramas. Your card is so pretty and I love all the details. Marvi is such a cool cat. Mine would not be so accomodating!
Wow Peta, I am amazed you managed to get anything done with all that happening. And such a pretty card to boot!!!! Glad your sister and home are okay!!!
Tranquil Tide is one of my new favourite colours. Just love the detail in this card. Gorgeous.
Wow what a week!!!!! I love your card, and the layering with the sentiment and label stamp are just beautiful, the little gold leaves are perfect. I can’t believe you managed to fit a CASE in this week! So good to hear everything turned out ok.
Love your card Peta. I’m sorry you’ve had such an awful time, here’s to a better week – Angela xx
Goodness me, I’m sorry you’ve had such a terrible week. But very glad everyone involved is ok 🙂 Your card is gorgeous and you’re spot on, the garden trellis embossing folder is a brilliant match for the labels stamp. I hope the coming week is a fabulous one for you xo
Glad you didn’t have any issues with the fire. Love the colours with the touch of gold. Those doilies are so nice, aren’t they!
