Hello and welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty. It’s been a huge weekend, on Saturday I attended Stampin’ Up! On Stage at the Gold Coast and on Sunday I had my first Volunteer training day for the Commonwealth Games. Both events were held at the Gold Coast Convention Centre. I can’t give too much away but you’re going to love everything in the SAB and Occasions catalogues.
This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing any Colouring Project.
I’ve chosen the card on page 18 of the Holiday Catalogue.
I’ve changed the colour of my card base to Basic Black with a layer of Soft Sky.
I have stamped the image from Santa Paws onto water colour paper and selectively coloured parts of it with Water Colour Pencils. How cute do these little critters look?
The sentiment is from Santa’s Sleigh and I’ve stamped each word separately then popped them up on mini dimensionals.
I hope you have enjoyed my post today. It’s time to hop over to my good friend Megan. Don’t forget Megan, what happened on the Gold Coast stays on the Gold Coast lol. Just click on the next button and you’ll be taken straight over to her beautiful project.
Would you like to submit an entry to our weekly Challenge? We’d love to see what you create.
Thanks for stopping by.
I loved this cute stamp too, and it is such fun to colour these animals isn’t it? I love the soft shades the pencils gave your card.
Beautiful colouring. So soft and subtle. I think this card is really enhanced by the black highlights.
I love your card Peta. Lovely colouring and choice of colours x
Cute card Peta 🙂
I love your colouring with the pencils. It looks lovely and soft. I hadn’t noticed that a kitty is at the top of the tree until I saw your card but right fully so!!
