Stampin' Cat CTC 160 True Gentleman Birthday Wit

Hello and welcome to our first CASEing the Catty Blog Hop for 2018.  I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year.  I spent my Christmas with family, we had a lovely lunch at my sisters house.

I’ve been super busy since the 13th December when I decided I needed to downsize and I put my house on the market.  I’ve spent countless hours cleaning and making everything look just right, but all my hard work has paid off.  I sold the house on the 29th December.  I’ve lived in this house for 20 years and now I have until the 31st of January to pack up and move out.

You may have hopped over from Angela, thanks for continuing on with me.  Our first challenge this year is CASEing Picture Perfect Party, pages 4-9 from the new 2018 Occasions Catalogue.

I’ve chosen the Happy Birthday card on page 9.

This card is so bright and fun in these colours but I really wanted to use my new True Gentlemen DSP.

I’ve made my card the standard C6 size using Tranquil Tide, Night of Navy and Very Vanilla card stock, I’ve also added a layer of vellum.

The sentiment is from the new Birthday Wit stamp set.  I’ve stamped it in Chocolate Chip and Tranquil Tide.  I’ve added some Very Vanilla Solid Baker’s Twine and if you look really closely you’ll see some new Night of Navy Corduroy Ribbon peeking out from behind the sentiment.

I hope you’ve had a chance to look at the new 2018 Occasions and Sale-a-bration Catalogues.  Over the coming weeks we’ll be CASEing projects from both catalogues, giving you plenty of ideas and inspiration.

Next up on the hop is Bronwyn, you’re going to love her project.  Click on the next button to hop on over.
