Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s Sunday night again and that means another CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. You may have arrived here from Rachel’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me. Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
This week we are CASEing a layout from page 151 of the Annual Catalogue. There’s just 5 projects to choose from on this page so it will be interesting to see what everyone creates.
I’ve chosen the card with the fish on it, in the middle of the bottom row.
I’ve started with a Blackberry Bliss card base then a layer of Mossy Meadow that’s been run through the Subtle Embossing Folder. I’ve die cut an almost complete circle from the Mossy Meadow piece then layered a piece of Perennial Essence DSP behind it.
I’ve die cut some Vellum leaves using the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies and adhered them behind my flower. The flower is from the Healing Hugs stamp set and I’ve stamped it in Blackberry Bliss. I’ve also stamped a second flower and fussy cut the centre of the flower and layered it over the first flower.
I’ve used the Wink of Stella over my flower and it’s blended the white areas of the flower and made them pink. I’ve also added some Leaf Ribbon leaves and some Woven Threads Sequins.
I just love these beautiful rich colours together. I think Marvi does too.
Next up tonight is Michelle’s beautiful project. Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.

These colours are so rich and deep creating a really elegant timeless look!! Love the ribbon leaves – they look stunning! And the extra layer of flower is really lovely. And the DSP behind the circle is gorgeous. What a wonderful CASE.
The flower looks almost “velvety”! Love the subtle embossing folder on the mat and the colours blend so well with the DSP! Beautiful card.
Nicely tied together Peta, the DSP is superb in behind the cut-out.
Such a pretty card Peta – and the colours just pop!!! Love the richness of it! Kelly x
Rich is the perfect word for your gorgeous card! The bloom is just stunning, and the layers under it are amazing.
So pretty, I love the peak of the DSP in the circle
