Hello and welcome to my blog. Thanks for joining me for a brand new challenge #CTC265 Week 1 – CASE anything from the 2nd release Sale-a-bration Catty.
You may have hopped over from Tina’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I’m using the card on page 6 as my inspiration this week.
I’ve started with a Basic Black card base with a layer of Peaceful Poppies DSP.
I’ve used the Stitched Rectangle Dies to cut four rectangles in Whisper White then layered Peaceful Poppies Elements over the top of the rectangles, coloured with Old Olive and Poppy Parade Stampin’ Blends.
The “Birthday” sentiment is white heat embossed on Basic Black. I’ve also added a few Peaceful Poppies Sequins.
Marvi was happy to get outside and relax in the backyard after all the rain we’ve had. I’m not sure if he’s very interested in my card today.
It’s time to hop over and see Shannon’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Clever layout and a great way to use those gorgeous elements. The colouring is so soft and sweet. Love it.
This is such a cool effect! It works so well with the different poppy elements. Marvi looks like he is enjoying that sunshine.
Gorgeous card Peta. Can’t go wrong with poppies. I am planning on using the same inspiration for week 2 🙂
Oh, this is so cool! A fabulous way to use those poppy elements, which I always forget about!
This is a great card to case. I love how it works with so many different stamp sets. It looks great with the poppies.
Love this case, such a great layout as it’s so adaptable. Thanks for sharing
What a great card!! You could do this with so many different sets.
