Hello and welcome to my Blog. I hope everyone is feeling OK and staying safe from the Coronavirus. Marvi and I are both well, although I’m sure he’d love to have me working from home instead of the office. We are stopping all face to face contact with our clients from this week onwards. We’ll be using Skype, FaceTime, Email, and Zoom and if any staff members have been exposed to the virus we’ll all be in quarantine and working from home. Luckily I have a job which allows me to work from home if needed.
This week on CASEing the Catty we are into Week 2 of CASEing from the 2nd release SAB Catty. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
Today I’ve chosen to CASE the card on page 5.
I’ve changed the colours but otherwise kept to the same layout.
My card base is Basic Black with a layer of the gorgeous Golden Honey SDSP. I’ve added a Basic Black banner, a Very Vanilla Stitched So Sweetly rectangle and the large flower from the Poppy Moments Dies.
The “stamen” in the centre of the flower is die cut from some retired Black Glimmer Paper and the sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings.
My assistant Marvi was happy to pose for a photo today. I told him if he was a good boy there might be a reward for him. I mentioned the word “bickie” and this was his reaction.
It’s time to hop over and see Rose’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Peta!! I’m shocked… bribery?? Lol. Marvi is looking a lot more interested this week tho. Fabulous card – that DSP and those dies ard winners in my book. Stay safe and count your blessings
Wow what a stunning card! I love the black and gold combo!! My kitties will also be happy if/when I get to stay home.
Wow, your card is stunning! The black and gold is so dramatic, and I love the addition of the sparkle!
A stunning card! Thanks for sharing!!
I love this also and wonder if it would be too black for a Sympathy card? Are classes going ahead or is it a wait and see game?
All the black and gold makes for a huge ‘wow’ factor, Peta. The flower looks fabulous in black and gold, something I wouldn’t have thought to do. Love that look on Marvi’s face. Such a great photo.
Oh super stunning…. how great does the single poppy look in black & gold!! Love it!
I love the gold and black. It gives it such a different look to the original card.
Oh be still my black and gold loving heart. This is stunning. That is all.
Yep, nailed it. Stunning CASE…. and I think Marvi and the card are perfectly coordinated!! Love love love.
