Hello and welcome to my Blog. Have you had a chance to look through the new 2020-2021 Annual Catalogue yet? Are you as excited as we are about all the new fabulous goodies? Week 2 of #CTC271 we are taking you inside the Catty and CASEing any project we like. That’s right, CASE anything from the new Catty. With so many options what will you be CASEing this week?
You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
I didn’t get too far into the Catty when I came across the card I was going to CASE. Page 9 features the beautiful Boho Indigo Product Medley and I fell in love with the card in the bottom left hand corner.
I’ve changed things up a bit as I’m still waiting for this Suite to arrive so I used what I had, which is what CASEing the Catty is all about.
My card base is Night of Navy with a layer of Whisper White. That’s followed by a layer of Misty Moonlight and another layer of Whisper White, both have been embossed with the new Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder. My flower pot is an upside down bee hive from the retired stamp set Honey Bee.
I’ve filled my flower pot with just a couple more flowers and leaves than the sample. Some were stamped and die cut, others were just die cuts but they’re all from the brand new Forever Greenery Suite. Leaves don’t always have to be green, I love them in these colours of Night of Navy, Misty Moonlight and Sahara Sand.
Mr Marvi was all ready for a photo shoot today, looking straight into the camera without any bribery. I did give him a couple of treats afterwards for being such a good model.
It’s time to hop over and see Rebecca’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
Great idea using the beehive for the pot. Love all of the different shades of blue you have used.
You’re so right, these leaves look wonderful in the blues. What a marvellous card, and so clever using your beehive to give you an enormous vase of gorgeousness!!
This is beautiful! I love all your layers. And that new embossing folder is gorgeous – can’t wait for mine to arrive.
What a stunning bunch of blue! Love your variety and fullness to compliment your clever pot. Good boy Marvi – he’s worked out how to get the treats!
Wow, this is gorgeous, and I love it way more than the catalogue sample! So beautiful!
I loooove this colour combination! You had me there. Love all the beautiful layers of leaves and the textured background. Using the beehive as a vase is genius. It looks awesome!!
