CTC279 – Case The Sketch on Page 72

Hello everyone and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we have a sketch challenge. CASE the sketch on page 72 of the Annual Catty. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

Here’s the card broken down into a sketch.

I’ve used this sketch challenge to make my first Christmas card for the year. I know it’s only August but you can never start on Christmas cards too early lol.

My card base is Gray Granite with a layer of Whisper White then a layer of Peony Garden DSP. My Poinsettia is sitting on another smaller panel of Whisper White which has been die cut with the scalloped edge from the Magnolia Memory Dies then embossed with Tasteful Textile Embossing Folder.

The Poinsettia is die cut in Cherry Cobbler using the Poinsettia Dies. The leaves are Mossy Meadow and I’ve added some Gray Granite sprigs. The flower in the centre of my poinsettia is from the Boho Indigo Product Medley. My sentiment is White heat embossed and is from the Wrapped In Christmas stamp set.

Marvi was happy to pose for a photo today and the card survived!!! I thought those little sprigs might have been a temptation for him.
