Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing any embossing project from either catalogue. This can be any kind of embossing you like, there’s so many projects to chose from. I’ve used the card in the bottom left hand corner of page 41 of the Annual Catalogue.
My card turned out very different to the sample project but I liked the embossed vellum and the sentiment.
My card base is Thick Basic White with a layer of Soft Suede then a layer of Vellum. The Vellum has been embossed with the Evergreen Forest 3D Embossing Folder.
The sentiment is from the Encircled In Warmth Stamp Set. Firstly I embossed it in gold on a piece of Basic White card stock then I embossed it in white on a piece of Soft Suede card stock. I’ve added the Soft Suede piece over the top of the Basic White piece. I’ve also added some gold leaves and sequins from the Expressions In Ink Ephemera Pack.
You can really see how beautiful the gold leaves shine in this picture. Marvi had to look away it was so shiny.
