Hello and welcome to my Blog. It’s a busy night as I’m participating in two Blog Hop’s tonight. The first Hop is with ESAD. What is ESAD I hear you ask?
I’m joined by 25 lovely Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand and we’re going to bring you some Christmas inspiration using new products from the 2018 Holiday Catalogue. You may have hopped over from the lovely Katrina Duffell, thanks for continuing on with me. Make sure you complete the full Hop, there’s a Participant List at the end of my post just in case you get lost along the way.
The 2018 Holiday Catalogue starts on the 5th of September and runs until the 2nd of January 2019. The first thing on my wish list was the Dashing Deer Bundle and the Shimmer Paint so I thought I’d combine these two items for my project today.
I’ve made four cards as there’s four colours of Shimmer Paint.
Vegas Gold Shimmer Paint
Bright Copper Shimmer Paint
I’ve inked up the antlers with my Black Ink Pad then I’ve painted the Shimmer Paint directly onto my stamp with a small paint brush then stamped it onto my card stock. I’ve used Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Gold Foil and Copper Foil.
Frost White Shimmer Paint
Champagne Mist Shimmer Paint
I’ve painted the whole stamp with Shimmer Paint for these two cards. I’ve used Very Vanilla, Basic Black, Silver Foil and Champagne Foil. The little bows on the reindeer’s necks are die cut from the Joyous Noel Glimmer Paper and the sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings.
It’s hard to photograph the Shimmer on the cards. They look much better in real life than in my pictures.
My assistant, Marvi, not only helps out when I’m photographing my cards, he’s quite helpful when I’m typing my Blog too. If there’s any spelling errors I blame him lol.
Next on tonight’s hop is Cathy Pinchbeck, you’re going to love her creation. Just click on the Next arrow to Hop on over.
Thanks for stopping by. Feel free to leave me a comment, I love reading them.
