I’ve chosen the cute little Reindeer card on page 47.

I got to try out my new Stampin’ Blends (an early Christmas present to myself). I think I’m going to have some fun with them over Christmas

I’ve made some Christmas trees by cutting a section out of the Foil Snowflakes.

I’ve changed the red bow to gold so it matched my trees.  The sentiment is from Santa’s Sleigh.

Thanks for supporting all the fabulous crew members from CASEing the Catty this year.  Marvi and I wish everyone a very Merry Christmas and a wonderful New Year.  We hope to see you all next year with some brand new Challenges.

CTC158 – Case a Project From The Page That Is Your Age!

Stampin' Cat CTC 158 Eastern Palace

Hi and welcome to our CASEing the Catty Sunday night Blog Hop.  Thanks for hopping over from Rebecca.  Tonight we are CASEing a project from the page that is our age!  Those of you that know me know I turned 50 earlier this year.  I was a little worried about the big 50.  I didn’t have a big party, just a few friends and family for lunch.  I did however have an amazing cake.

I turned to page 50 of the Holiday Catalogue but there were no pictures on page 50 so I Iooked at page 50 of the Annual Catalogue and decided to use the gift bag as my inspiration.

Annual page 50

I’ve used the Eastern Palace Specialty DSP and the Mini Treat Bag Thinlits.

I fussy cut around the pattern on the Tranquil Tide/Dapper Denim DSP to create a belly band.

I added some Gold Mini Sequins, Mini Tassels, a sentiment and some stars.  The sentiment is from Oh, What Fun and the star is from the Wood Crate Framelits.

Next on the Hop is Rachel.  Just click on the next button to hop over to her lovely project.

CTC157 – Case a Colour Combination – Both Catalogues

Stampin' Cat CTC157 Santa's Sleigh

Welcome to our Sunday night CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  You may have hopped over from Rebecca, thanks for continuing on with me.

Can you believe it’s just over 3 weeks until Christmas?  I’ve nearly made all my Christmas cards but I haven’t even thought about Christmas shopping yet.

This week we are CASEing a Colour Combination from either Catalogue.

CTC157

The card on page 43 of the Annual Catalogue caught my eye.

Annual page 43

I’ve changed the star shape to a reindeer so I now have another card in my Christmas Card stash.

It was very hard for me to adhere my Pool Party cardstock and my banner at an angle but I threw caution to the wind and didn’t put them on straight lol.  I think my card is more angled than the original!!!

I added a Silver Foil frame around my reindeer and changed the Baker’s Twine for some Silver Mini Sequins.  I’ve used a single sequin for the reindeer’s eye.

The sentiment is from Christmas Quilt.  I used my Island Indigo Marker to ink up the “merry” then stamped it near my reindeer.  The “Christmas” is heat embossed with white embossing powder.  I’ve also added some Washi Tape and a strip of Silver Foil Card under my sentiment.

My assistant Marvi hasn’t featured for a while.  He’s been on a diet and he hasn’t been too happy to pose for photos.  He thinks I’m slowly starving him but the good news is he’s lost 370g bringing his weight down to 6.75kg.

Next on the hop is Elizabeth.  Just click on the next button to hop over to her beautiful project.
