Hello and welcome to my blog. I’m back for CASEing the Catty after spending last weekend in Melbourne. I had a long weekend on my own exploring the city and watching a T20 cricket game at the MCG. I only just made it home before the rain set in. It’s been raining since last Tuesday with plenty of local flooding and road closures. Luckily Marvi and I are safe and dry.

This week we are CASEing an Embossed project from any catalogue. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the card on page 62 of the Annual Catalogue.

This project has used an embossing folder on the three background panels and heat embossing on the vellum layer.

My card base is Smoky Slate followed by three panels of Pale Papaya which have been embossed with the Timeworn Type embossing folder. I’ve used my Stamparatus to stamp the In Symmetry stamps onto my vellum then I’ve white heat embossed them.

I’ve then added the sentiment and flower layer with some Soft Succulent 3/8″ Open Weave Ribbon behind it.

Marvi was so glad to see me when I arrived home Monday night. I think he missed posing with my card last week.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing the Colours of the Heart & Home DSP. The colours in this DSP are Pale Papaya, Garden Green, Misty Moonlight, Fresh Freesia, Cinnamon Cider and Basic Gray. You can use all of the colours or just pick a few of them, like I’ve done.

I’ve used the top right card from page 40 of the Mini Catty as my inspiration and used three of the challenge colours.

I’ve used Basic Gray, Misty Moonlight and Fresh Freesia Re-Inkers and the baby wipe technique to create my main image.

My card base is Basic Gray followed by a layer of Fresh Freesia. I’ve stamped the main image on the Fresh Freesia layer in Versamark instead of embossing this layer like the sample card. I’ve added a panel of Misty Moonlight then my main image.

The “thanks” is die cut using the Amazing Thanks Dies. I’ve added some Wink of Stella to my tree to give it a little sparkle then also added a few Pastel Pearls to finish it off.

Marvi was cat napping on the mat when I took this quick picture. He’s been off his food for a couple of days this week, which is so unlike him. He’s a big cat and loves his food but he’s slowly getting back to normal.

Hello and welcome to my blog. Can you believe it’s February already, this year is going so fast. We’re into the second month of the Sale-a-bration Catalogue and we’re CASEing from there again this week. Here’s some good new, Sale-a-bration has been extended until March 16th 2022.

I’ve chosen to CASE the card on the left hand side of page 14.

I’ve changed the colours but kept very close to the layout.

My card base is Crumb Cake with layers of Basic Black and Basic White. I’ve embossed the Basic White layer with the Stitched Greenery Die. The flower is from the Flowing Flowers stamp set and is stamped in Soft Suede then fussy cut.

I’ve added some leaves using the Sprig Punch and some Sparkle & Shine Sequins. It’s a very simple card but I loved how it turned out.

Marvi was looking at something…………over my shoulder maybe and wasn’t really interested in my card this week.
