Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s been such a hot and humid week here in Queensland I’ve spent a lot of time creating in my air conditioned craft room. Marvi however has not joined me in air conditioned comfort. He’d rather sleep somewhere else in the house where the air conditioning is not on.

I’ve CASEd the very bright Crushed Curry “Hello” card on page 10.

A little bit of Crushed Curry goes a long way, sorry to all the Crushed Curry lovers out there. I’ve CASEd the card using more “me” colours.

My card base is Pool Party followed by a layer of Orchid Oasis. The next layer is Basic White and I’ve embossed it with the Layered Florals 3D Embossing Folder. I chose not to colour my embossed layer and I also chose to use the debossed side of the card stock. I love all the white space on this card.

I’ve added a piece of the Pool Party 5/8″ Crinkle Ribbon from the SAB Catty. Secretly, I’m a little bit in love with this ribbon. My sentiment is White Heat Embossed then I’ve used a Blending Brush to add some colour with Pool Party ink. I’ve used the Heartfelt Punch to punch it out. I’ve also added some Orchid Oasis ink to a Paper Butterfly Accent (online exclusive product).

I found Marvi in the bedroom laying on the carpet. He must not feel the heat as this room was so hot and I’d imagine the carpet would be even hotter. I know where I’d rather be.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the Bee Mine Section of the Mini Catty, pages 8-13. You may have hopped over from Kathryn’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the “Love You” card in the top right hand corner of the above graphic. This card uses the Bee Builder Punch and Bee My Valentine stamp set.

My card base is Boho Blue with a layer of Pebbled Path. The next Basic White layer has been embossed with the Distressed Tile 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve used a die from the Lovely and Sweet Dies and stamped them with a flower from the Softly Sophisticated stamp set (SAB).

I’ve added a few fussy cut random Bubble Bath flowers. The sentiment is from the Charming Moments stamp set.

Mr Marvi posed nicely for this weeks photo. I’m sure he’s thinking if he co-operates I won’t make him get off the sideboard, he’s not normally allowed to be on the fur-niture.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing from the Jan – Feb 2024 Sale-a-bration Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

There’s some wonderful projects in this Catalogue and it took me a while to choose which project I was going to CASE.

I ended up choosing the “Toucan” card from page 13.

My card base is Early Espresso followed by a layer of Softly Stippled DSP (SAB Catty). For the tree, I’ve used the Jungle Pals Dies on some Earthen Elegance DSP, I like how the variation in colour makes the tree look quite realistic. The leaves have been die cut using the same dies, I’ve used Old Olive, Garden Green, Parakeet Party and Soft Sea Foam.

The cute little toucan is coloured with Pumpkin Pie, Daffodil Delight and Smoky Slate Blends. The sentiment is from the Timeless Arrangements stamp set and has been die cut using the Thoughtful Expressions Dies.

Marvi had a big birthday during the week, he turned 11 years old on the 9th January. He was hanging out on one of the bar stools, which wasn’t ideal for a picture but some days you just have to get a picture when and where you can.
