Stampin' Cat CTC 189 Share What You Love Beautiful Bouquet

Welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  This week our inspiration comes from the Love, Thanks & Support section, pages 104-125 of the Annual Catalogue.   You may have arrived here from Judy’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve chosen to CASE the flower layout on the card on page 110 of the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve seen a lot of pocket cards lately,  I think they look amazing and they’re super simple to make.

I’ve used Mint Macaron and Rich  Razzleberry card stock with the Belly Band made from the Share What You Love DSP.

I’ve used the Lovely Floral Embossing Folder on the back of the pocket card.

The flowers are from the Beautiful Bouquet stamp set and I’ve stamped them in Lovely Lipstick, Pineapple Punch and Grapefruit Grove then die cut them and the leaves with the matching Bouquet Bunch Framelits.  The flowers are sitting on a Rich Razzleberry banner and a Pearlized Doily.

Colour INKspiration Challenge CI38

Stampin' Cat CI38 Tropical Chic Stampin' Up!

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today’s card is for the latest Colour INKspiration Challenge CI38.  The challenge colours are Powder Pink, Gray Granite, Berry Burst, Whisper White and Basic Black.

CI38

I’ve used the new Tropical Chic Bundle for my card.  It’s becoming a new favourite of mine.

For the background I’ve inked my stamp with Powder Pink ink then used a sponge dauber to add some Berry Burst ink to my stamp before I’ve stamped it.  I love the effect that creates.

I’ve stamped the sentiment over a leaf image then die cut the image.  I’ve die cut that same image in Gray Granite and Basic Black and layered them behind.

I hope you like today’s card.  Thanks for stopping by.

CTC188 – Holidays – Pages 92-103

Stampin Cat CTC188 Labels to Love Stampin' Up!

Welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  This week our inspiration comes from the Holidays section, pages 92-103 of the Annual Catalogue.   You may have arrived here from Rebecca’s gorgeous project, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve chosen the top card on page 103 of the Annual Catalogue and I’ve CASEd it nearly 100%.  I love the colour combination, I’ve used Real Red, Old Olive and Night of Navy.

Although there is a SU promo on DSP at the moment I don’t have the Under the Mistletoe DSP so I created my own using off cuts of card stock.

I’ve added a layer of vellum over the top to soften these bold colours.  The “Ho Ho Ho” is from Labels to Love stamp set.  When I adhered this to my card I accidentally put it on upside down “Oh, Oh, Oh” lol.  Luckily I was able to remove it and put it right way up.

The “Merry Christmas” is white heat embossed and it has an Everyday Label Punch behind it.  I’ve finished my card off with a Night of Navy Baker’s Twine bow.
