Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you’ve had a good week and managed to find some time for crafting. There’s only 8 weeks until Christmas (eeeek), have you started on your Christmas cards yet?

This week we are CASEing our Favourite Mini Catalogue Project. With so much to choose from, what is your favourite project? You may have hopped over from Tina’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

Choosing a favourite project is like choosing a favourite child (cat), you don’t want anyone to feel left out. That’s why I’ve combined two favourite products to make my card this week, Peaceful Deer and Peaceful Place SDSP.

My inspiration comes from the “Let’s Celebrate” card in the bottom left hand corner of page 26.

When you have such gorgeous SDSP you don’t need much else to create a beautiful card. My card base is Thick Basic White with layers of Crumb Cake and Basic Black. The deer and rabbit are stamped with Memento Black Ink and coloured using Crumb Cake and Smoky Slate Blends, then fussy cut.

The SDSP has lovely silver accents on the trees so I’ve let the SDSP do all the talking. I’ve stamped the deer’s antlers and the little swales in the snow directly onto the SDSP. The sentiment is White Heat Embossed on Basic Black card stock.

Marvi posed nicely with my card this week, I think that means he likes it. Or maybe he just likes knowing he’s my favourite child (cat) lol.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing any Glittery or Sparkly Project from either Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Rachel’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen to use the “snowflake” card on page 57 of the Mini Catty as my inspiration.

The sample card uses the Decorative Masks and Shimmery White Embossing Paste which I’ve substituted for Whimsy & Wonder SDSP.

My card base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Mint Macaron. I’ve used two different designs from the Whimsy & Wonder SDSP. The sentiment is from the Encircled In Warmth stamp set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow.

I’ve added a thin strip of Silver Specialty Foil along the top of the sentiment and some Simply Elegant Trim. Can you see the glittery sparkly elements in the SDSP? It’s hard to capture in a photo but it looks amazing.

Marvi was in a hurry to go outside and explore. Here he is posing for this weeks photo but he was telling me to hurry up.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you’ve had a wonderful weekend. Today my family got together for a BBQ lunch to celebrate my father’s 91st Birthday. Happy Birthday Dad.

This week, we are CASEing a project from the Bundle Section of the Mini Catty, pages 65-71. You may have hopped over from Rachel’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’m using the “Penguin” card on page 68 as my inspiration.

Instead of using penguins I’ve used dogs. Yes, I know what you’re thinking, dogs instead of cats?

My card base is Grey Granite with layers of Cherry Cobbler and Pool Party. The Pool Party layer has been randomly stamped with “Merry Christmas”, it’s from the Peaceful deer stamp set.

The dogs and Christmas baubles are fussy cut directly from the Sweet Stockings DSP. I’ve also added some Cherry Cobbler and Gold 1/2″ Metallic Ribbon.

I also made a cat version of the card but I think I actually prefer the dog version, shhhh don’t tell Marvi Lol.

Marvi is not really impressed by the dog card. Don’t you just love the look on his face? It’s time to hop over and see Sandra’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
