Hello and welcome to another Sunday night Blog Hop with CASEing the Catty. This is week 2 of CASEing from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. Have you got your entry in yet? I’ve picked the pretty floral card in the top left corner of page 12 for my CASE this week.

I’ve used the same colours as the sample card but I’ve used a 10.5cm square card rather than a note card.

The colours are Shaded Spruce, Soft Sea Foam, Petal Pink and Flirty Flamingo. I’ve used a Whisper White card base with a layer of Soft Sea Foam for all cards. I don’t have the Thoughtful Blooms stamp set so I chose three stamp sets that I could create a great stamped background with.

The sentiment is from Timeless Tulips and is White Heat Embossed on Shaded Spruce card stock. I’ve also added some Whisper White Baker’s Twine to each card. Which one is your favourite?

Marvi was taking a nap on my desk while I was typing my blog. He doesn’t look comfortable with all his legs hanging over the edge.

Hello and welcome to my Blog. It’s been a lovely rainy weekend here in Queensland. Perfect weather to craft or watch Netflix.

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing anything from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve CASEd the “hello” card from page 6 of the Sale-a-bration Catalogue.

I’ve changed up the colours of my card to make it a little less bright. My card base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Pretty Peacock and Perennial Essence DSP.

Pretty Peacock is one of my favourite new In Colours, I don’t think there’s a colour it doesn’t go with. The flowers are die cut in So Saffron using the Lily Pad Dies. I have a layer of vellum behind them.

I’ve die cut some leaves in Old Olive and Pretty Peacock and also added some Old Olive/Pretty Peacock Reversible Ribbon. The sentiment is from Timeless Tulips and is stamped in Old Olive.

Marvi was relaxing outside but keeping out of the rain. I’m sure there was a bird sitting on the fence which caught his attention.

This time the little Easter card on page 44 stood out to me.  I’ve substituted the chick with meerkats.

I’ve also changed the colours of my card, using Terracotta Tile as my card base then a layer of Sahara Sand and Woven Threads DSP.

I’ve used the bee hive from the Detailed Bee Dies and turned it upside down to create a big flower pot.  My cheeky meerkats are popping up out of the pot.  I’ve given them a little bit of colour using the Light Crumb Cake Stampin’ Blend.

I’ve stamped a few party hats for my Meerkats in Rococo Rose and Pretty Peacock.  The sentiment is from the Gang’s All Meer and is stamped in Terracotta Tile.  I’ve also added a Braided Linen Trim bow.

Marvi is taking his inspiration from the upside down bee hive/flower pot.  It was his 7th Birthday on Thursday and he partied hard.
