I’ve CASEd the “apple” card in the bottom left hand corner on page 39 of the Annual Catalogue.

The use of the Vellum drew me towards this card. The sample card uses a layer of Vellum Basics, this piece has a diagonal white stripe on it.

My card base is Lost Lagoon followed by a layer of Vellum Basics which has been die cut with the Deckled Rectangle Dies. Next I’ve layered a piece of Copper Clay card stock then some Earthen Elegance DSP. The tall pot is also die cut from the Earthen Elegance DSP and the small pot is Pebbled Path ink stamped on Very Vanilla card stock.

I’ve added a Moody Mauve leaf to the smaller pot. The sentiment is White Heat Embossed and is from the Charming Sentiments stamp set.

I’ve been working 6 days a week lately and not spending enough time with Marvi. He’s been a little bit naughty the last few weeks. Here he is trying to destroy my card, fortunately I got it off him before he could do too much damage.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing A New Colour Project. With 5 new In Colours, 4 new main colours and 7 returning colours you have a lot to choose from. I’ve CASEd the box on page 67 of the Annual Catalogue and turned it into a card.

Although I do love this project in the Catty I’ve changed the colours. I really loved the new In Colour, Wild Wheat, when I saw it in the new Catty. However, I’ve been struggling to use it in any projects yet. Hopefully I’ve done it justice.

My card base is Wild Wheat followed by layers of Berry Burst and Basic White. I’ve stamped on the Basic White piece using the Timeless Arrangements stamp set then I embossed it with the Painted Texture 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve used the Timeless Arrangements matching dies to die cut all the leaves behind the sentiment. I’ve used Wild Wheat, Pebbled Path, Copper Clay and Berry Burst card stock.

The sentiment is from the same stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Basic Black card stock. I’ve also added some new 1/4″ Natural Wavy Trim, I think it adds to the earthy coloured look of the card.

The temperature in Queensland has cooled down this week but Marvi knows where all the nice warm places are. Here he is half in and half out of the sun, belly up. Don’t you just want to rub that big fat belly?

Hello and welcome to my blog. Happy Mother’s Day to all the Mum’s out there. I spent the day at a family BBQ lunch, it was a lovely day and Mum really enjoyed it. Marvi spoilt me today with a beautiful arrangement of flowers, he has good taste.

This week we’re CASEing A Love Project. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the “Love You” card on page 37 of the Annual Catalogue.

Instead of using the Petal Park stamp set, as the sample card has, I’ve used the new Paper Florist Dies. These dies are amazing for building flowers, I can see I’ll be using them a lot.

My card base is Bubble Bath followed by a Basic White layer which has been embossed with the Exposed Brick 3D Embossing Folder. All of the flowers are from the Paper Florist Dies, I’ve used Fresh Freesia, Soft Sea Foam, Old Olive, Highland Heather, Gorgeous Grape and Basic White.

I love the stitched detail on the Soft Sea Foam leaves. My sentiment is from the Something Fancy stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Gorgeous Grape card stock. I’ve added some Iridescent Rhinestone for a touch of bling.

Mr Marvi doesn’t look very happy with my card this week. I’m sure he thinks the flowers he gave me are better.
