Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the All About Autumn Section, pages 42-47. It’s spring here in Australia so I don’t usually look closely at the autumn section of the catalogue however I had the privilege to attend a Stampin’ Up! DDM Event during the week and we got to play with the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks which are on page 47 of the Mini Catalogue. Perfect for this weeks challenge.

I’ve CASEd the sunflower card from page 47, which uses the Abundant Beauty Decorative Masks.

I know sunflowers are traditionally yellow, but whose says they have to be?

I think these non-yellow sunflowers look amazing. My card base is Crumb Cake followed by a layer of Copper Clay. The sunflowers are stamped on Basic White then embossed with one of the folders from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders.

The sentiment is from the Cheerful Daisies stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Old Olive card stock. I’ve added some Copper Clay 3/8″ Textured Ribbon and some Brushed Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots.

Marvi was a little bored with my card this week. Who knew he didn’t like non-yellow sunflowers? Or maybe he’s saying “how dare you wake me up during nap time”.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing from the O Holy Night Suite, pages 14-17 of the Mini Catty. The Stars At Night Bundle was the first thing on my list from the new Mini Catty. Last week I used the dies from this bundle, this week I’m using the Hybrid Embossing Folder.

I’ve CASEd the card in the bottom right hand corner of page 17. I liked this card so much that I didn’t change much from the original design.

I’ve changed my card base to Night Of Navy then added an embossed Boho Blue Layer. Before I embossed the Boho Blue layer I inked the inside of the embossing folder with Versamark. The Versamark gives the embossed stars a slightly darker outline.

I’m not sure if you can see the outline in the above picture. The stars on the right have been embossed without using the Versamark on the embossing folder.

I’ve added a few die cut stars in Very Vanilla and Gold Foil Sheet. I’ve used a small piece of Shining Brightly Specialty DSP and some Natural 1/4″ Wavy Trim behind the sentiment.

I found Marvi snacking on his cat grass so I took a quick picture. Here he is licking his lips, he loves his cat grass. Hours before I took this photo I found him “playing” in the backyard with a small snake. He’s a lucky boy because that small snake was a red belly black, a bite could potentially be fatal to pets.

I managed to get a photo of the snake before it was relocated to the bush across the road from my house.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This weeks challenge is to CASE a project featuring “A Walk In The Forest” DSP. This DSP can be found on pages 4 and 5 of the Mini Catty. With every purchase of this DSP Stampin’ Up! will donate $4.25AUD to organisations dedicated to spread cheer and provide support to those in need.

There’s quite a few projects scattered throughout the new Mini Catty which feature A Walk In The Forest DSP. I’ve CASEd a card from page 73 which features the Warmest Heart Bundle.

As I don’t have the Warmest Heart Bundle I changed my card and used the Stars At Night Bundle.

My card base is Old Olive followed by a layer of Basic White. The Basic White layer has been embossed with the dots embossing folder from the Basics 3D Embossing Folders. I’ve used two different patterns of A Walk In The Forest DSP rounding off one corner with my retired Envelope Punch Board.

The stars are layers of Old Olive, More Dazzle Specialty Paper and Basic White card stock. The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set and is stamped in Pretty Peacock ink.

This weeks card photo with Marvi doesn’t really make my card look great but Marvi is looking as handsome as ever.
