#stampin_cat #ctc239 #comesailaway #stampinup

CTC Sunday Challenge

Welcome to another week at CASEing the Catty.  The weeks are just flying by so fast, it will be Christmas before we know it. You may have arrived here from Rebecca’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This week we are CASEing a layout from page 103 but changing the theme.  There’s 5 cards to choose from, which one are you going to CASE this week?

Page 103

I’ve chosen the sweet elephant card in the bottom right hand corner.  Here’s a closer look at it.

Page 103

When you break it down this layout has a repeated stamped image background, a vellum circle, the same image as the background stamped and punched out and a sentiment.

Instead of a repeated stamped image background I’ve used a laser-cut card from the Come Sail Away Memories & More Card Pack.  It has a repeated image of a ships wheel.

#stampin_cat #ctc239 #comesailaway #stampinup

I’ve flicked some retired Gold Wink of Stella over my Vellum Circle then layered my Gold Heat Embossed sentiment over the top.  I’ve finished my card off with a Gold Foil die cut wheel which is the same image as the background.  Too easy.

Next up tonight is Rachel’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  It’s Sunday night again and that means another CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  You may have arrived here from Siobhan’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This week we are CASEing the colours from the Garden Lane DSP which are Garden Green, Mint Macaron, Mossy Meadow, Pear Pizzazz and Soft Sea Foam.  You can also use pages 36, 37, 40 and 41 from the Annual Catalogue for inspiration.

CTC238

Green is one of my favourite colours but I’m yet to buy the Garden Lane DSP.  I couldn’t decide which green to use so I used all of them.  I’ve CASEd the “Here’s to Love” card on page 40, the card on the left in the graphic below.

Annual Catty P 40

I’ve made a 3″ x 3″ note card in each of the 5 green’s mentioned above.

Soft Sea Foam

All of my note cards have a Magnolia Lane DSP banner, Gold Glimmer Paper and a greeting from the Well Said stamp set.  I’ve stamped the fern leaf from the Daisy Lane stamp set in the same colour as the card stock and I’ve added some Gold Metallic Pearls.

To finish off my set of note cards I’ve stamped the fern on the matching envelopes and decorated the top of a Mini Pizza Box.

Next up tonight is Lauren’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  It’s Sunday night again and that means another CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  You may have arrived here from Rachel’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This week we are CASEing a layout from page 151 of the Annual Catalogue.  There’s just 5 projects to choose from on this page so it will be interesting to see what everyone creates.

CTC237

I’ve chosen the card with the fish on it, in the middle of the bottom row.

#stampin_cat #ctc237 #healinghugs #perennialessence #stampinup

I’ve started with a Blackberry Bliss card base then a layer of Mossy Meadow that’s been run through the Subtle Embossing Folder.  I’ve die cut an almost complete circle from the Mossy Meadow piece then layered a piece of Perennial Essence DSP behind it.

#stampin_cat #ctc237 #healinghugs #perennialessence #stampinup

I’ve die cut some Vellum leaves using the Frosted Bouquet Framelits Dies and adhered them behind my flower.  The flower is from the Healing Hugs stamp set and I’ve stamped it in Blackberry Bliss.  I’ve also stamped a second flower and fussy cut the centre of the flower and layered it over the first flower.

#stampin_cat #ctc237 #healinghugs #perennialessence #stampinup

I’ve used the Wink of Stella over my flower and it’s blended the white areas of the flower and made them pink.  I’ve also added some Leaf Ribbon leaves and some Woven Threads Sequins.

#stampin_cat #ctc237 #healinghugs #perennialessence #stampinup

I just love these beautiful rich colours together.  I think Marvi does too.

Next up tonight is Michelle’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.
