Hello and welcome to my blog. This weeks challenge is all about trees. Case A Project Featuring Trees. There’s not that many projects featuring trees but if you look very closely you’ll find them. I’ve CASEd the card above, in the bottom left hand corner, on page 43 of the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve used a couple of new products from the Sept – Dec 2023 Mini Catalogue, available to order from 6th September. My card base is Pebbled Path followed by a layer of Lost Lagoon. The next layer is one of the gorgeous pieces of One Horse Open Sleigh DSP which is an online exclusive purchase. I’ve used the torn edge die from the Gorgeously Made Dies to create the layering along the bottom of my card. The trees are die cut using the new Forever Forest Dies, I’ve used Pretty Peacock, Pebbled Path and Pool Party card stock.

I’ve added a few tiny silver foil stars using the new Stars At Night Dies. The sentiment is from the Brightest Glow stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Pebbled Path card stock.

Mr Marvi was taking a nap in my craft room but he sat up and opened his eyes just long enough to get a good picture. He then put his head down and went back to sleep.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we have a fun challenge, CASE any project from the Annual Catalogue and Step It Up. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

This week I’ve used the “Thinking of You” card on page 66 as my inspiration.

I’ve used the same background as the sample card but stepped it up by adding a couple of extra layers, changing the colour of the leaves and flowers and adding some bling.

My card base is one of the new 2023-2025 In Colours, Wild Wheat. When I first saw Wild Wheat I thought it would work well with gold and black. I’ve added a layer of Very Vanilla then a layer of Naturally Gilded Specialty DSP (online exclusive) then a layer of Vellum to tone done the gold and make the black more prominent. The flowers and leaves were die cut using the Meadow Dies.

I’ve added some More Dazzle Specialty Paper over three of the flowers. Although this specialty paper comes in gold I thought it was too much gold and went with the Champagne colour instead. The sentiment is from the Quiet Meadow stamp set and is stamped in Wild Wheat on Very Vanilla card stock. I also added a gold Brushed Metallic butterfly.

Marvi was having his morning snack so I quickly interrupted him for a picture. I’m sure he thought he might get some more food if he looked at the camera.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing the Bright & Beautiful Suite, page 14 of the Annual Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen the card in the centre of the page with the diagonal feature and the star.

My card base is Copper Clay followed by a layer of Very Vanilla. I’ve added two different patterned pieces from the Earthen Elegance DSP. I’ve created a diagonal feature using a die from the Paper Florist Dies and some Copper Clay 3/8″ Textured Ribbon. The leaves are from the Earthen Textures Dies and are die cut in Misty Moonlight and Copper Clay.

The sentiment is from the Artistically Inked stamp set and is stamped on Very Vanilla card stock. I’ve also added some Brushed Metallic Adhesive-backed Dots.

Marvi was hanging out in my craft room and posed nicely for a photo.
