Hello and welcome to my blog. I missed last weeks challenge as I was in Brisbane attending Stampin’ Up! OnStage. I had the best time making new friends, watching amazing demonstrations with new products and getting my hands on the new Catalogue.

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a Mix & Match Project, pages 14-15 of the Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen to CASE the “love you” card on page 15. This card uses images from three of the Ephemera packs in the Mini Catty however I don’t have any of these packs so I used what I had and came up with a card I absolutely love.

I’ve used the Linked Together Bundle on pages 48-49 of the Mini Catty. This bundle consists of a stamp set, die set and decorative masks. My card base is Thick Basic White with a second layer of Basic White. On the second layer I’ve used Bubble Bath ink, a blending brush and number 2 and number 5 decorative masks. I’ve then die cut two of the lattice look dies and adhered them over the top to create this great look.

The flower image is from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack. I’ve added some extra leaves in Garden Green and Soft Sea Foam using the Linked Together Dies. The sentiment is from the Greetings For All Ephemera Pack.

When it was time to take this photo I couldn’t find Marvi anywhere. I eventually found him in the laundry, sitting on top of the clothes dryer. Judging by the look on his face I don’t think he appreciated my card or the fact that I found his new place to cat nap.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing from the March 2025 Online Exclusives. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

Here in SE Queensland we’re still dealing with the tail end of Ex tropical cyclone Alfred. I would say today has seen the worst weather, so far. We had been waiting for Alfred for a whole week, he couldn’t make up his mind what he was doing or where he was going. One night he did a full 360 degree loop out at sea then he appeared to get stuck in Moreton Bay. Fortunately he spared the Sunshine Coast from any major damage however there’s some local flooding along coastal areas. Unfortunately our southern neighbours were not as lucky. As a cyclone turns in a clockwise direction and Alfred was south of the Sunshine Coast, most of our wind was offshore. Anywhere south of Alfred experienced onshore wind, pounding waves and lots of rain.

I’ve CASEd a card which uses the Pattern Of Friendship Bundle.

I don’t have this bundle so I’ve used what I have for my version of this card.

This is the sample card which has used the Pattern of Friendship Dies and the Lovely Garden DSP.

I’ve started with a Thick Basic White card base which has been stamped with the Elements of Text stamp set. I’ve then added a piece of Gold Foil which has been embossed with the Forever Plaid 3D embossing folder. The flower image is from the Fully Flowering Ephemera Pack. This is a black and white image and I’ve coloured the leaves with Garden Green and Granny Apple Green watercolour pencils then used my Blender Pen to blend the colours.

The sentiment is from the Simply Said stamp set and is White Heat Embossed on Basic Black card stock. I’ve coloured a few Basic Rhinestones with a Granny Apple Green Blend.

Marvi was sitting on my bed. He’s been a little out of sorts this week and is not really settled. I guess he can sense the cyclone coming, they say animals can sense these things.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the Floral Delight Suite, pages 33-37 of the Mini Catalogue. I’ve only just bought this suite and this was my first play with all the products. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the “wishing you well” card in the bottom right hand corner of the above graphic.

As you can see I’ve changed the colour of my card base from Daffodil Delight to Pool Party. I’ve added an extra layer of Pool Party which has been stamped with a flower image using Versamark. The circle is die cut using the Spotlight on Nature Dies. The flowers and leaves have been directly die cut from the Floral & Gingham Vellum. The vellum flowers and leaves seemed to get a bit lost on my card so I also die cut the flowers and leaves in Basic White then layered the vellum over the white layer.

The word “wishing” is from the Delightful Wishes Dies. I love the layered look however adhering those teeny tiny dots for the “i’s” was very challenging. To finish off my card I added a few Tiny Bee Trinkets, they’re sooooo cute.

Mr Marvi was hanging out on my concrete coffee table. You’d think he’d be able to find a more comfortable place to sit. He’s actually sitting right in front of the TV and he was watching the horse racing. He’s fascinated by the horse racing and I put the TV on just so he can watch it.
