Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing from the new Jan – April 2026 Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

The Gears & Textures Bundle stood out to me and was the first thing on my Wishlist so I’ve CASEd a card on page 53 which uses this bundle.

The Gears & Textures Bundle creates mechanical-inspired cards with raw, urban style. It features industrial textures and distressed effects and bold dies for gears, chains, and wire.

My card base is Basic Gray followed by a layer of Irresistible Designs SDSP which I’ve added some Smoky Slate ink to with a Blending Brush. I’ve stamped a couple of the images directly onto this layer as well. The gears are die cut in Gold Foil Sheet and also stamped in Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight.

The flowers and leaves are also from the Irresistible Designs SDSP with Lemon Lolly and Misty Moonlight ink added with a Blending Brush. My favourite part of this card are the Phillips Head Screws which are die cut from Basic Black and Silver Foil Sheet. The sentiment is from the Banner Sayings stamp set.

Marvi was telling me he needed some more food. He’d already had his breakfast and his dry food however he thought he needed more. It was his 13th Birthday on Friday and he was totally spoiled with fresh fish and prawns for dinner.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas and New Year, I know I did but sadly it’s back to work tomorrow. This is our first Blog Hop for the year and we are farewelling the Sept-Dec 2025 Mini Catalogue which ends tomorrow the 5th January 2026. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd a card on page 28 of the Mini Catty which uses the North Pole Delivery Suite. I did love this Suite of products however I didn’t get around to buying it so I’ve used the On Display Bundle to CASE this card.

I’ve used the card with the mailbox, letters and parcels as my inspiration however I’ve made my card landscape instead of portrait.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by another layer of white. Instead of using the North Pole Delivery DSP for the red and white checkered background I’ve used Forever Plaid 3D Embossing Folder. The next layer is Cloud Cover which has been stamped in Versamark with a large floral stamp from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set then a Basic White Perennial Postage die cut.

Using the On Display Dies I’ve die cut the shelf from Crumb Cake, the books from Basic Beige, the birdcage from Secret Sea and the leaves from Mossy Meadow. The sentiment is also from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set and is stamped in Secret Sea ink. I’ve used the Three Banner Punch for the sentiment.

Marvi had a wonderful Christmas, he had more presents under the tree than I did. As you can probably tell he is one very spoilt puss.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This will be CASEing the Catty’s last blog hop for the 2025 year. We are CASEing the Mini Catalogue one last time before it ends on the 5 January 2026. I’ve CASEd part of a scrapbook layout on pages 10 and 11 of the Mini Catalogue and turned it into a slimline Christmas card.

The Peaceful Garden Suite was my favourite suite from the Mini Catty so that’s what I’ve used for my last Christmas card of the year.

My card base is Crumb Cake followed by layers of Secret Sea and Peaceful Garden DSP. The circle was die cut from DSP using the Spotlight On Nature Dies then I’ve cut a few strips of DSP, some Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper and some Cloud Cover cardstock and arranged them over the circle. I’ve embossed the Cloud Cover and Basic White pieces using the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder to add some texture.

The stars are die cut using the Ornamental Christmas Dies on some Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper. The sentiment is White Heat Embossed and is from the Peace On Earth stamp set.

Marvi was just getting comfortable on the outdoor lounge. He loves to nap outside on his favourite chair, he spends most of the day there. He just wouldn’t look at the camera this week, something caught his attention however it wasn’t me or my card.
