I’ve CASEd a card which uses the Festive Framed Photos Bundle. As I don’t have this bundle I’ve used what I have to recreate it.

My version of this card is a Birthday Card using two different Hot Foil Dies.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Creative Celebrations Mix & Match Specialty DSP. I’ve used the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies with some Silver Opal Foil to create the Basic White die cut. The leaves are die cut in Soft Sea Foam and are from the Fern & Flora Dies.

The flowers are from the Boutique Blossoms stamp set and are stamped in Hydrangea Hue and Barely Blush. I’ve added a small Basic Rhinestone to the centre of the flowers. The sentiments are from the Sweetly Sentimental Hot Foil Dies using Silver Foil on Basic Black card stock.

This was Marvi’s reaction to my card this week. He stole my chair in my craft room and had a little nap.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing anything from the brand new September – December 2026 Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Rochelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen to CASE the “tis the Season” card on page 19 which uses the Timeless Christmas Suite.

I’ve kept the same layout however I’ve changed up the colours of my card.

My card base is Cloud Cover followed by a second layer of Cloud Cover which I’ve Silver Hot Foiled with the Starry Night Hot Foil Die. Next I’ve added a layer of Basic White then a banner of Winter Dreams Specialty DSP. This paper features dimensional silk-printed winter designs on deep dark blue cardstock, you just want to touch it to feel the texture. Next I’ve added a layer of Secret Sea which has been die cut using the Scalloped Christmas Cheer Dies.

I’ve added some Basic White 3/8″ Textured Ribbon behind the banner. The sentiment is from the Scalloped Christmas Cheer stamp set and is Silver Heat Embossed. To finish off my project I’ve added some holly and holly leaves stamped in Real Red, Cloud Cover and Secret Sea.

Marvi was outside on the lounge this week instead of being asleep on his favourite mat. He’s almost back to his normal self after his trip to the vet a couple of weeks ago.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This will be our last CASE from the May-August 2026 Catalogue as it ends on 31 August which means we’ll be CASEing from the new September-December 2026 Catalogue next week. We’re CASEing our Favourite Stamp Set from the outgoing Catalogue.

My favourite stamp set from this catalogue is Phrases & Frames. I sometimes struggle with what sentiment to use on a project but this has been my “go to” stamp set for the last few months.

I’ve CASEd the above Birthday card using the same colour palette as the sample card.

I’ve used several colours of card stock to stamp the “Happiest Birthday Wishes” then I’ve arranged them in a diagonal pattern. The colours of card stock are Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and Cloud Cover. Most have been stamped with Pretty Peacock however some have been White Heat Embossed.

I’ve used the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies to create two layers behind the sentiment. I fussy cut a couple of left over White Heat Embossed sentiments and added them to my card. Instead of gold stars I’ve added gold hearts using a retired small heart punch.

We have “sleepy” Marvi again this week. He usually sleeps from about 10am to 4pm which is when I’m needing him for a photo.
