Hello and welcome to my blog. There’s only 9 days until the current Mini Catalogue ends so this week we’re CASEing our Favourite Project from the Mini Catalogue. The above graphic shows the Poetic Expressions Suite which happens to be my favourite suite from the Catty so I’ve CASEd the gorgeous packaging and turned it into a card.
My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Poetic Expressions DSP. I’ve stamped the flowers and hummingbird then coloured them with my watercolour pencils. I’ve tried to create partial colouring, leaving some areas uncoloured.
I’ve added some Lost Lagoon and Mossy Meadow leaves behind the flowers. To finish off my card I’ve die cut three Highland Heather flowers and given them a Festive Pearl centre.
At first, Marvi thought he might like to rip the hummingbird right off my card but soon decided the promise of real treats was worth posing nicely.
