CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  This week at Caseing The Catty we are Caseing a Holiday Catty Punch Project.

You may have arrived here from Sandra’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

CTC247

I’ve chosen to CASE the Christmas Tree card on page 13.

Page 13

Instead of Christmas Tree’s I’ve gone with Stars, die cut from Noble Peacock DSP and Foil Sheets, Copper Foil and Brightly Gleaming DSP.

#stampin_cat #CTC 247 #stitchedstarsdies #brightlygleaming #stampinup

My card base is Mossy Meadow with a layer of Very Vanilla.  I’ve die cut the Very Vanilla with the largest Rectangle Stitched Framelit then embossed it with the Subtle Embossing Folder.

#stampin_cat #CTC 247 #stitchedstarsdies #brightlygleaming #stampinup

The sentiment is a piece of Very Vanilla/Copper Classic Weave Ribbon and I’ve also added a Star Design Element to one of my stars.

The Brightly Gleaming DSP is so gorgeous I couldn’t bring myself to throw away the negative space after I’d die cut my stars.  This is such a simple card to make but I loved how it turned out.

Marvi

Marvi wasn’t too happy to pose for a photo this week.  Maybe he knows I’m leaving him again next week when I go to Melbourne for the AFL Grand Final.

Next up tonight is Judy’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.

CTC246 – Case Feels Like Frost DSP

#stampin_cat #ctc246 #feelslikefrost #stampinup

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  I’ve been on a lovely holiday to Cairns, so I didn’t make the Blog Hop last week but I’m back this week for #CTC246.  This week we are CASEing the colours of the Feels Like Frost DSP and using layouts from page 40 as inspiration.

You may have arrived here from Rachel’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

Page 40

I’ve used the “Yuletide Cheer” card as my inspiration, on the left hand side of the above graphic.  The Feels Like Frost DSP is so gorgeous I couldn’t stop at one card.

#stampin_cat #ctc246 #feelslikefrost #stampinup

The DSP is the focal point of my cards and I’ve placed the sentiment and embellishments so as not to cover any of the lovely detail on the DSP.  I’ve used the Silver Foil-Edged Cards as my card base.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Christmas and the die cuts behind the sentiment are from Ornate Frames and Frosted Frames.

CTC244 – Case a Layout from the Holiday Catty Cover

#stampin_cat #ctc244 #tagstagstags #feelslikefrost #stampinup

CTC Sunday Challenge

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Today is Father’s Day here in Australia and I’d like to wish all the Father’s out there a very Happy Father’s Day.  It’s also my sister’s birthday today, Happy Birthday little sister.  We had a fun day with a BBQ lunch for 14 people and 4 dogs, lucky for Marvi it wasn’t at my house.

The 2019 Holiday Catalogue is only days away from being released, can you wait until the 4th September?   This week at CASEing the Catty we are giving you a little sneak peek and we’re CASEing a layout from the front cover.

You may have arrived here from Tina’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

CTC244

I’ve chosen to CASE the card on the bottom left hand side of the front cover.  I’ve used Bermuda Bay, embossed with the Stylish Scroll Embossing Folder, as my card base and replaced the red and white stripes with silver and white stripes from the Feels Like Frost DSP.

#stampin_cat #ctc244 #tagstagstags #feelslikefrost #stampinup

I’ve used the Tags, Tags, Tags stamp set and coloured the stamp with my markers in Real Red, Bermuda Bay and Shaded Spruce.  I’ve threaded these tags onto some Whisper White Baker’s Twine.

#stampin_cat #ctc244 #tagstagstags #feelslikefrost #stampinup

I’ve used the Gleaming Ornaments Punch to punch out a Real Red Glimmer Paper bauble then added a Sparkle Glimmer Paper snowflake.

#stampin_cat #ctc244 #tagstagstags #feelslikefrost #stampinup

Marvi couldn’t help himself with the shiny bauble and twine.

#stampin_cat #ctc244 #tagstagstags #feelslikefrost #stampinup

Luckily I saved the card and the bauble from major destruction.

Next up tonight is Julia’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.
