Hello and welcome to my Blog. It’s Sunday night already so it’s time for our CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. The weekend has gone so quickly but here in Queensland tomorrow is a public holiday for Labour Day so I get one extra day to craft.
This week we are CASEing our favourite Retiring Bundle from either the Annual Catalogue or the 2020 Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Tina’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.
You probably won’t believe me but I only have a couple of bundles that are retiring from the 2019-2020 Annual Catalogue. With that being said I have plenty of retiring bundles from previous Catalogues. I’ve chosen to use a bundle from the 2020 Mini Catty this week, Parisian Beauty and I’ve CASEd the two cards on the right hand side of page 17.
The first card I did in a class earlier this year but I thought I’d share it because everybody loved it. I followed the sample card fairly closely, only changing a couple of things.
My card base is Crumb Cake with a layer of Pool Party embossed with the Scripty embossing folder. Next a layer of Cherry Cobbler then my stamped piece.
The flourish was die cut from Champagne Foil and there’s a banner of SDSP behind my sentiment. I’ve also added some Champagne Rhinestones.
For the second card I started with a layer of Petal Pink then a layer of Parisian Blooms SDSP. I used the Stitched So Sweetly Dies to cut out three different pieces of SDSP.
The Eiffel Tower is die cut from Champagne Foil and adhered over the top of the SDSP. I’ve stamped the sentiment in Cherry Cobbler on Petal Pink card stock. I’ve added some Champagne Rhinestones to this card too.
I think it’s safe to say Marvi likes the blue one lol.
It’s time to hop over and see Shannon’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
Thanks for stopping by.
The 3 panels of die cut dsp are just awesome! I love this bundle too, and I’m so very inspired by your projects. They are stunning – both of them. The collage stamping on the first one is beautiful.
Love this bundle and your cards really showcase it well. I love both cards but think my favourite is the pink one, unlike Marvi.
Lovely cards, Peta. Marvi is looking very satisifed with his choice, lol.
Looks like Marvi wants to keep the blue card! These are so pretty, Peta. I love how they are quite busy but peaceful and cohesive because all the elements work together so well. You’ve really shown this suite off beautifully.
Like Marvie, I love that blue one and I loved making it in class.
Gorgeous cards Peta! Love them both x
Marvi is a boy who knows what he likes!! They are both lovely cards! I do love this bundle and I’m sad to see it go.
Fabulous cards Peta. I love the DSP panels as well. Lucky that you’re not losing too many bundles. Love the photo of Marvi – he’s totally team blue
