I’ve made three cards using the new Honey Bee Bundle and I’ve combined it with the Golden Honey Specialty DSP, which I got for free.
Did you know you could earn free products with every $90 you spend? Here’s a couple of ways you can earn the Golden Honey Specialty DSP for free and CASE (copy and share everything) my cards.
All of my cards start with a card base of Basic Black with a layer of Gold Foil then Whisper White. Three bees using the Detailed Bee Dies.
The top bee is die cut from the Golden Honey DSP, the middle bee is Gold Foil and the bee on the bottom is die cut in Basic Black card stock then I’ve paper pieced the gold pieces from the middle using some Glad Press N Seal.
For my second card I’ve die cut the bee hive from the DSP. The bee’s are also directly die cut from the DSP, don’t you just love it when the dies co-ordinate with the DSP?
The Gold Foil honeycomb looks so cute peeking out from behind the bee hive and the gold bee’s look amazing in real life.
For my last card I’ve turned the bee hive upside down and turned it into a flower pot. I think this is my favourite pattern in the DSP.
I’ve stamped the flowers from the Honey Bee stamp set directly onto my Whisper White card stock. Then using Stazon Black Ink I’ve stamped the same flowers onto some Gold Foil then die cut and popped them up over the top of the original flowers.
Marvi’s all ready for a new year of posing with my cards. Here he is relaxing with my Honey Bee cards and yes all the bee’s survived, he didn’t destroy any!!!
If you’d like a copy of the new Catalogues just let me know. I promise I won’t give you the one Marvi is sitting on.
It’s time to hop over to Monique Fielder’s beautiful project. Just click on the “NEXT” button below.

Love these cards, especially your ingenious way of making a flower pot. I have a pussy cat helper in my craft room too.
Peta, these cards are superb! I just got the DSP and can’t wait to let loose. Thanks for the inspiration x
Love your cards Peta – but I feel like Marvi isn’t showing the same amount of enthusiasm that we are for the new catalogues! 😉
These cards are gorgeous and I love the bees die cut from the dsp, thanks for the inspiration.
Cute cards Peta !
Love the use of the gorgeous Gold DSP, a beautiful collection of cards, not to mention your kitty…. adorable!
The black and gold is such a perfect colour combo. You’ve made some very cute cards here
These are so beautiful and that foiled golden honey paper is just gorgeous with these!
Gorgeous cards Peta you are so patient paper piecing the gold back into the bee! X
The black and gold is so elegant and you have made such a beautiful collection of cards Peta. I love your flower pot card – very clever
Cute cards and I love your Marvi, I have a kitty, Moophasa, that looks just like your Marvi and he’s my little craft room helper too!
Great projects using this bundle, Peta. I love the pot idea. Thanks for sharing
Ahhh, your bee cards are fabulous!!
WOW!!! I love what you have done with this DSP and die cuts… Such a cool SAB product.
Cheers Shaz
These are fab Peta. Love the different and clever ways you have used this bundle. Fab! x
Love, love, love the beehive flower pot – my fave of all 3 of your awesome cards.
Each card is cuter than the last. I did not know that the dies coordinated with the DSP bees. It would have saved me a lot of stamping yesterday on a set of swap cards!!!! Great hint.
