Stampin' Cat CTC 199 Tin Tile Joyous Noel Stampin' Up!

Welcome to another CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  This week our inspiration comes from the Country Lane section, pages 42-47 of the 2018 Holiday Catalogue.   You may have arrived here from Rebecca’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This week I’ve chosen to CASE the frame in the above graphic.  Here’s a better look at it.

I’ve used the basic layout, in a different orientation, and turned it into a card.  There’s so much shine on this card it’s hard to photograph.

My card base is Basic Black with a layer of Champagne Foil (shiny) that’s been embossed with the Tin Tile Embossing Folder.  Then I’ve added a small piece of Joyous Noel DSP (shiny stars) then a piece of Copper Foil (shiny).

The sentiment is from the Peaceful Noel stamp set and has been heat embossed in Copper Embossing Powder (more shine).  I’ve stamped the leaf in Sahara Sand behind the embossing.  I’ve also added some Black Mini Sequin Trim (shiny) and some Copper Metallic Thread (shiny) behind the sentiment.

If you look really closely you’ll see I’ve added a single Black Mini Sequin to the centre of the Tin Tile Embossed flowers.  I used the new tool “Take Your Pick” to position these sequins………too easy.

My assistant Marvi  had better things to do today rather than pose for photos.  He gets very excited about a new SU box.

Next up tonight is Elizabeth’s beautiful project.  Just click on the “Next” button to hop right over.
