Hello and welcome to another Sunday night CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  I’d like to wish all the Mother’s out there a very Happy Mother’s Day for today.  I hope you all had a very special day and got to spend time with your loved ones.

There’s only a few weeks left of the 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue so this week we are CASEing our favourite Annual Catalogue Project.  You may have hopped over from Julia’s beautiful creations, thanks for continuing on with me.

Choosing your favourite 2017-2018 Annual Catalogue Project is like choosing your favourite child (or cat) so it took me a while to decide.  I finally chose this card from page 93.

I use the Beautiful Bouquet Bundle on a lot of my projects.  The stamp set has some wonderful Sentiments and the Framelits always seem to have just the right flowers or leaves.

My first card is stamped in the retiring 2016-2018 In Colours.  Dapper Denim, Emerald Envy, Flirty Flamingo (returning as a Brights colour), Peekaboo Peach and Sweet Sugarplum.

My next card uses the 2017-2019 In Colours.  Berry Burst, Fresh Fig, Lemon Lime Twist, Powder Pink and Tranquil Tide.

For my last card I’ve used the new 2018-2020 In Colours.  Lovely Lipstick, Grapefruit Grove, Pineapple Punch, Call Me Clover and Blueberry Bushell.

I’ve used a Blender Pen on the tiny little flowers to pull some of the colour out and I’ve also flicked some Clear Wink of Stella all over the card.

Hello and welcome to my blog.  As this blog post goes live I’ll be watching the MKR grand final.  I’ve been hooked on MKR for a few years now.  It’s been eating into some of my craft time but I can’t miss an episode.  I’ll be a bit sad when it’s over but I’m so excited that House Rules is starting straight after MKR ends.  When will I ever get to play with my Pre-order ???

This week on CASEing the Catty we are CASEing our Favourite Retiring Item.  You may have hopped over from Elizabeth, thanks for continuing on with me.

So many choices, what will I CASE?  I finally chose to use Pick a Pattern DSP with the retiring 2016-2018 In Colours.  I love those little critters in the Pick a Pattern DSP, they’re so cute and I’m really going to miss the 2016-2018 In Colours (Dapper Denim, you know you’re my favourite but don’t tell Sweet Sugarplum)  I’ve CASEd the card on page 98 of the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve created some 3″ x 3″ note cards in the same layout as the card above.

I’ve used Sahara Sand as my card base with a layer of Whisper White and some Pick a Pattern Washi Tape.  These items are all current items and will be carrying over into the new Annual Catalogue.

I’ve fussy cut some critters and some trees from Pick a Pattern DSP (retiring) and used some retiring 2016-2018 In Colour DSP’s to match to my stamped sentiments.  The sentiment is from Lovely Inside and Out (retiring)

Flirty Flamingo isn’t actually retiring, it’s becoming a new Brights colour, but I didn’t want it to feel left out.
