Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s our last blog hop for the year and we are CASEing any project from either Catalogue. It’s also our 500th Blog Hop, can you believe we’ve reached 500!!! As we are finishing the year on such a milestone we have invited past crew members to hop along with us.

I’ve CASE the cute little “Tis the Season” card on page 18 of the Mini Catalogue.

This project uses the die cut designs from A Little Bit Fancy SDSP. I hadn’t used many of these pre-cut designs so I thought I’d use them up.

I loved how cute this CASE turned out so I made a couple more cards in this design. Then I thought, maybe I should use up some more of these pre-cut die designs. I’ve CASEd the other projects on page 18 too, adding in some background embossing to step them up a little.

I ended up with nine cards in total but I could have made many more with the remaining pre-cut die pieces. Which one is your favourite? Mine is the card with the Teddy Bear.

I interrupted Marvi’s nap again for a photo. He does spend a lot of time napping, I guess most cats do. It’s a pity he’s not napping at 3am when I’m tryng to sleep.

I’d like to thank everyone for following along with us for another year. Thank you for all the lovely comments and kind words. I hope you have an amazing Christmas wherever you are in the world. Here in Queensland, Australia we are expecting a hot and humid Christmas Day with a possible thunderstorm in the afternoon. We’ll be back CASEing next year with the first hop on Sunday 5th January. Sadly I’ll miss this hop as I will still be away on a cruise, don’t worry about Marvi he’ll be in good hands. He’s being looked after by a live in house sitter while I’m away.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing a project background. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the background on the “Be Merry” card on page 39 of the Mini Catalogue. It uses strips of Take A Bow DSP as the background.

I’ve used some Snowy Scenes DSP instead, which gives my card a totally different look.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Petal Pink. Next I’ve added the strips of Snowy Scenes DSP. The tree has been stamped in Garden Green on some Pool Party card stock then die cut using the Decorative Trees Dies.

The tree is decorated with some Silver Foil Sheet die cut decorations and Petal Pink Foiled Gems. The sentiment is from the Decorative Trees stamp set and is White Heat Embossed.

Marvi was in my craft room with me all day while I was making this card. It may have been because it was cooler as I had the air conditioning on. For some reason he likes to lay on my guillotine, which makes it challenging to use.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing any project featuring animals. This is our third last hop for the 2024 year. You may have hopped over from Kathryn’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen to CASE the Book Treat Box on page 26 of the Mini Catalogue.

I plan to make several of these Book Treat Boxes and fill them with sweet goodies for all of my co-workers.

I’ve used some A Little Bit Fancy SDSP to cover my “book”, rounding the corners on the right hand side to match the book. Next I stamped several trees in Garden Green and Granny Apple Green from the Reindeer Fun stamp set. I used the co-ordinating die to cut them out.

The reindeer has been die cut directly from the Reindeer Days DSP. I’ve popped the reindeer up on dimensionals so the closing tab of the Book Box can slide underneath it and stay closed. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Season stamp set and has been White Heat Embossed on Garden Green card stock.

Marvi was in the middle of his daily 9 hour nap so I thought I’d grab a quick photo while he was sleeping. He did open his eyes in disapproval, as I woke him up.
