Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing from the Peaceful Garden Suite, pages 32-35 of the Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Rachel’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I love the Peaceful Garden Suite because of it’s versatility. Not only is it perfect for Christmas cards it also has thinking of you and sympathy sentiments as well.

I’ve chosen to CASE the gorgeous home decor piece above but turn it into a card.

My card base is Basic Black followed by a layer of Cloud Cover which has been embossed with the Peaceful Greenery 3D Embossing Folder. Next I die cut a frame using the Gallery Blooms Dies however I thought the frame was too wide and covered most of the embossing on the Cloud Cover layer. Using my Paper Trimmer I halved the width of the frame then popped it up on some dimensionals to give my project some depth.

The doves are die cut from some Peaceful Garden Glimmer paper using the Peace On Earth Dies. The sentiment is stamped in Memento Black on a die cut piece of Basic White.

Mr Marvi was happy to take a lovely photo with my card. Some weeks it is so hard to get him to look at the camera. He will sit perfectly next to my card but when I call his name to look at me he usually walks over to me rather than just look at me. Maybe I should share a blog post with all of Marvi’s outtakes haha.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing from the September 2025 Online Exclusives this week. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the card on the top right of the above graphic. I absolutely love this card so I haven’t really changed much at all. It uses the Elegant Pine Snowflake Suite Collection.

My card base is Basic Black followed by a layer of Old Olive. I’ve then added a layer of Elegant Pine Snowflakes DSP. I’ve added some Shaded Spruce 7/8″ Gold Edged Ribbon to make the card look like it’s wrapped like a present. This ribbon has a beautiful sparkle to it which was difficult to capture in my photos.

The pine branches and pine cones are die cut in Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie and Gold Foil using the Delicate Pines Dies. The sentiment is stamped in Cherry Cobbler and is from the co-ordinating stamp set Delicate Pines. To finish off my card I added a few Loose Gold Sequins.

Marvi was hanging out with me in my craft room. He doesn’t look as grumpy this week, in fact he’s looking quite handsome in today’s photo.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I missed last weeks blog as I was helping out in the scoring office at my local sporting club. We have two big competitions each year, last weekend we had 89 competitors from around Australia!!!

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing the Traditions of Christmas Suite, pages 21 to 27. You may have hopped over from Andrea’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve taken inspiration from a card on page 24 and a tag on page 26 then put them together into one project.

Here’s my mash up of these two projects.

My card base is Secret Sea with a layer of Old Olive. I’ve then added another layer which has been embossed with the Traditional Wreath 3D Embossing Folder. The leaves use the Christmas Greenery Dies and are die cut from Secret Sea, Old Olive and Peaceful Garden Glimmer Paper.

The bow is die cut from Poppy Parade card stock and the sentiment is from the Peace On Earth stamp set.

Marvi was a bit grumpy today, maybe he didn’t appreciate the visit from Mike the dog. Or he might still be upset with me for not letting him “help” in today’s card making class. He’s very clever at stealing pieces of ribbon when you’re not looking.
