Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing a Scrapbook Layout.  You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I didn’t have to look far for a project I really liked. Page 2 of the Jan-April 2026 Mini Catalogue and I knew I had to CASE this scrapbook layout. I think Julia and I have CASEd the same project however we have come up with two completely different looks for our projects.

I’ve used the row of squares on a diagonal layout as the inspiration for my card, using the Beautiful Gallery DSP.

My card base is Mossy Meadow followed by a layer of Crumb Cake. I’ve die cut several squares using the Stylish Shapes Dies then arranged them on a piece of Basic White. The die cut leaves are from the Gallery Blooms dies and are die cut in Secret Sea, Cloud Cover, Calypso Coral and Mossy Meadow.

The sentiment is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set and is stamped in Secret Sea ink on Crumb Cake then I’ve used the Three Banner Punch. I’ve also added a Linen Thread bow.

Marvi was looking very handsome for today’s photo. He was a very naughty boy earlier this morning and I didn’t give him any treats, so perhaps his pose was to make up for that.

I’ve CASEd the Petal Pink card in the above graphic using the Lovely Blossoms Suite Collection.

The Lovely Blossoms Suite Collection includes elegant flower stamps, dies, textured ribbon, patterned paper, embellishments, and an embossing folder. I’ve kept to the same layout as the sample card however I’ve changed the colours.

My card base is Crumb Cake then I’ve added a Secret Sea and Cloud Cover die cut using the Lovely Arrangements Dies. The flowers are stamped in Crumb Cake and the leaves are in Old Olive. The smaller leaves are die cut directly from some Lovely Blossoms DSP then I’ve added some Crumb Cake ink using a blending brush.

I’ve added some Old Olive 3/8″ Specialty Rickrack and some Basic Rhinestones which have been coloured with an Old Olive blend. The sentiment has been White Heat Embossed and is from the Lovely Arrangements stamp set. I’ve used all but one of the Lovely Arrangements dies on this card.

After I uploaded the close up pic of the card I noticed there’s a little piece of Marvi on the card. The joy of having a cat, especially a cat that’s very “paws” on with everything I do haha.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing from the new Jan – April 2026 Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

The Gears & Textures Bundle stood out to me and was the first thing on my Wishlist so I’ve CASEd a card on page 53 which uses this bundle.

The Gears & Textures Bundle creates mechanical-inspired cards with raw, urban style. It features industrial textures and distressed effects and bold dies for gears, chains, and wire.

My card base is Basic Gray followed by a layer of Irresistible Designs SDSP which I’ve added some Smoky Slate ink to with a Blending Brush. I’ve stamped a couple of the images directly onto this layer as well. The gears are die cut in Gold Foil Sheet and also stamped in Night of Navy and Misty Moonlight.

The flowers and leaves are also from the Irresistible Designs SDSP with Lemon Lolly and Misty Moonlight ink added with a Blending Brush. My favourite part of this card are the Phillips Head Screws which are die cut from Basic Black and Silver Foil Sheet. The sentiment is from the Banner Sayings stamp set.

Marvi was telling me he needed some more food. He’d already had his breakfast and his dry food however he thought he needed more. It was his 13th Birthday on Friday and he was totally spoiled with fresh fish and prawns for dinner.
