Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the colours of Autumn Toile DSP. The colours are Cajun Craze, Mossy Meadow, Pecan Pie, Early Espresso, Grey Granite and Very Vanilla. These gorgeous earthy colours are my kind of colours however I’m in a Christmas card making phase and I wanted to make these colours work for Christmas.

I’ve used the card on the top left of the above picture as my inspiration using Mossy Meadow, Early Espresso, Pecan Pie and Very Vanilla.

My card base is Mossy Meadow followed by a layer of Early Espresso. Next I’ve added a layer of Very Vanilla which has been embossed with the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder. I’ve used the Ornamental Christmas Dies to die cut two Christmas baubles from some Woven Textures DSP. I love the texture in this DSP, it makes me want to touch the paper.

I’ve added some foliage in Mossy Meadow and Pecan Pie using the Delicate Pines Dies and used some Gold Foil for the tops of the Christmas baubles. The sentiment is Gold Heat Embossed and is from the Wishing You Joy stamp set.

It was getting close to Marvi’s dinner time so I was not surprised to find him near his food bowls. Yes, he has two bowls. One is for dry food and the other is for wet food. He has to “sit” and “wait” before I feed him so he pretty much sits on command but only when it’s breakfast time, dinner time or snack time.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing a Bundle from pages 49-54 of the Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the snowflake card from the above graphic. The sample card uses the Snowy Delights Decorative Masks and the Words For The Season Bundle and is actually a shaker card. My version of this card uses the Online Exclusive Delicate Pines Bundle.

I started with a Pool Party card base followed by layers of Petal Pink then Silent Snowfall Specialty DSP. I think the little snowflakes on the Specialty DSP work really well with the stamped snowflake. The layers of snowflake are stamped in Petal Pink and Coastal Cabana with an added Silver Foil detail.

I’ve used two of the sentiments from the Christmas Words Collage Hybrid Embossing Folder in Silver Foil and Coastal Cabana. I’ve also added a few Petal Pink Muted Palette Dots.

When it was time for a Marvi photo I couldn’t find him anywhere. I eventually found him asleep on the bar stool at the breakfast bar. He looked so comfortable I felt guilty because I woke him up. Then I remembered all the times he’d woken me up at 3am zooming all over the bed and I didn’t feel so guilty.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We have a Card Sketch challenge for you this week. We’re CASEing a Card Sketch from page 14 of the Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve used the third card from the left, on the top row above. These templates are a great resource when designing your projects.

My card base is Basic Black followed by a layer of Basic White. I’ve adhered three different patterns of Modern Christmas SDSP onto the Basic White layer. The bauble has also been die cut from some Modern Christmas SDSP.

The sentiment has been Gold Heat Embossed and is from the Wishing You Joy stamp set. I’ve added a couple of Gold Foil die cut embellishments to the bauble and two Gold Foil stars.

I snapped Marvi mid yawn. He was having a cat nap in his bed until I woke him up trying to take his picture.
