CTC181 – It’s a New Catty

Stampin' Cat CTC181 Naturally Eclectic Cat Punch

Hello and welcome to my Blog.  The new 2018-2019 Stampin’ Up! Catalogue is live, have you got your copy yet?  I’ve spent many hours looking at this Catalogue.  I’ve made a wish list a mile long.  There’s so many things I “need” like all the new colours then there’s some lovely new bundles………….

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing anything we like from the new Catty.   You may have hopped over from Bronwyn, thanks for continuing on with me.

CTC181

With so many options, which one will I choose?  Starting from the front of the Catty I didn’t have to look too far.  The card on the bottom left hand side of page 16 really caught my eye.  Those that know me know I’m a real cat person so this card was perfect to CASE.

Annual Catalogue page 16

I’ve kept my card to the same basic layout but I’ve changed the colours around a little bit.  I’m not sure how they’ve achieved the gold background so I just did a wash with Moss Green Brusho and my Aqua Painter on some watercolour paper.

My card base and my leaves are Old Olive, the leaves have been stamped with the leaf image from Painted Harvest then I’ve punched them out with the Leaf Punch.  I’ve used Wood Textures DSP to punch out my cat.

Can you see the one new product I’ve used on this card?  The Whisper White Polka Dot Tulle Ribbon is hiding behind the leaves and the cat.  I’ve used the Eclectic Layers Thinlits to die cut the Gold Foil piece and also for the embossed leaf.  The flower and sentiment are from Happy Birthday Gorgeous.

Next on tonight’s hop is the very talented Sandra.  Just click on the next button to hop on over.

ESAD 2018 Annual Catalogue Launch Blog Hop

Stampin' Cat ESAD Varied Vases

Stampin' Up! Catalogue

Hello and welcome to my Blog.  Tonight I’m hopping with some very talented ladies for another ESAD Blog Hop for the launch of the Stampin’ Up! 2018-2019 Catalogue.  You may have started with me or you may have hopped over from the lovely Carolina Evans.  Click on the next button at the bottom of my post to continue your way around.  You won’t want to miss seeing any of these amazing projects we have for you tonight.

There are so many wonderful new products in this Catalogue I had a hard time choosing which one to use.  In the end I picked Varied Vases.  This stamp set has 34 photopolymer stamps and a matching punch.  You can buy it in a bundle and save 10%.

Varied Vases

I’ve made some cute little note cards measuring 9cm x 9cm using the new 2018-2020 In Colours.  The note cards all feature the same vase and flower from Varied Vases.  I’ve created the background using my acrylic block.  First I stamped the vase image in Basic Black then while the stamp is still on the block I used my Stampin’ Write Markers to colour the block.  Then I removed the vase stamp from the block and stamped my block directly over my vase image, creating a really easy background.  I then stamped the flowers.

I’ve added some Clear Wink of Stella to my vases to give them a little shine.

Which is your new favourite In Colour?  I’m leaning towards Blueberry Bushel.

I think Marvi likes Call Me Clover.
