Hello and welcome to my blog.  It’s Sunday night already, where has the weekend gone?  This week on CASEing the Catty we are CASEing from the How Sweet It Is section, pages 14-23.  You may have arrived here from Michelle’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This is such a fun, bright section of the Occasions Catalogue.  Although I don’t own any of this suite of products I’ve used what I have to CASE the cute little pink vase card on page 22.

Here’s a closer look.

I’ve changed my colours to Pool Party and Crumb Cake.

I’ve stamped the vase images on Whisper White card stock then punched them out with the co-ordinating Vase Builder Punch.

The sentiment is from the Butterfly Gala stamp set.  I’ve added some Silver & White Baker’s Twine and a Wooden Leaf from Butterfly Elements.

My assistant, Marvi, was kind of happy to pose for a photo today.  He’s been spending lots of time in the garden looking for more snakes.

It’s Sunday night already which means it’s time for CASEing the Catty Sunday Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing from the Sale-a-bration Catalogue again.  You may have arrived here from Rebecca’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.

I’ve chosen the Petal Pink card on page 8.

This card is really sweet so I haven’t changed much from the original design.

I’ve added some texture to the strips of card stock behind the sentiment, embossing them with the Lace Dynamic Embossing folder then I added some Old Olive 1/8″ Sheer Ribbon.

I’ve used a Sale-a-bration Wooden Butterfly Element with a punched butterfly on top.  Can you see the Grapefruit Grove Foil butterfly underneath?  I’ve added some sequins as well.
