Santa Slider Card

Today’s project is a Santa Slider Card from my November class using the

Jolly Friends Bundle.  Don’t you just love how Santa’s hat slides up and down?

I also used the Stitched with Cheer Stamp Set to create the stitched background

pattern on the card.

ESAD 2016 Holiday Catalogue Favourite Products Blog Hop

esad-2016-annual-catalogue-favourite-products-blog-hop-headerThanks for joining us on ESAD’s 2016 Holiday Catalogue Favourite Product Blog Hop. I had so much positive feedback from the last blog hop I thought I’d join in again. You may have hopped over to me after seeing Cathy Pinchbeck’s great project. Make sure you follow all the links to see everyones blog in this hop.

I’m using the Cookie Cutter Christmas Bundle for my card today. I just love the Teddy Bear from this stamp set and I’ve combined him with Santa, the Gingerbread Man and Eskimo to make a waterfall card.

Waterfall Card

I used Garden Green as my card base and layered it with the cute star DSP from Warmth & Cheer. I stamped all my images with Archival Black Ink on Crumb Cake card stock.

Santa Gingerbread Man Eskimo

I’ve used the Gold Wink of Stella to highlight a small part of each character and I’ve used the Kraft Rope Trim at the end of my tag. Every card needs a bit of bling so I gave my Teddy Bear a bow tie and my Gingerbread Man a heart using Gold Glimmer Paper. I also added a couple of gold stars to the front of the card to tie in with the stars on the DSP.

As you need 3 hands to photograph a waterfall card in action I asked my assistant, Marvi, if he could help me. At first he tried with his paw…….Marvi Paw

But that didn’t really work so he looked at the card and thought about it for a while………

Marvi Thinking

Then decided he’d have to use his mouth……….

Marvi Mouth

After replacing the Kraft Rope Trim I decided I had enough pictures of my card. Thanks Marvi!!
Now it’s time to hop over to Monique’s blog and check out her wonderful project.
