Hello and welcome to my blog. This will be our last CASE from the May-August 2026 Catalogue as it ends on 31 August which means we’ll be CASEing from the new September-December 2026 Catalogue next week. We’re CASEing our Favourite Stamp Set from the outgoing Catalogue.

My favourite stamp set from this catalogue is Phrases & Frames. I sometimes struggle with what sentiment to use on a project but this has been my “go to” stamp set for the last few months.

I’ve CASEd the above Birthday card using the same colour palette as the sample card.

I’ve used several colours of card stock to stamp the “Happiest Birthday Wishes” then I’ve arranged them in a diagonal pattern. The colours of card stock are Pretty Peacock, Pool Party, Lost Lagoon, Old Olive, Soft Sea Foam, Balmy Blue and Cloud Cover. Most have been stamped with Pretty Peacock however some have been White Heat Embossed.

I’ve used the Flourish & Frames Hot Foil Dies to create two layers behind the sentiment. I fussy cut a couple of left over White Heat Embossed sentiments and added them to my card. Instead of gold stars I’ve added gold hearts using a retired small heart punch.

We have “sleepy” Marvi again this week. He usually sleeps from about 10am to 4pm which is when I’m needing him for a photo.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the Moonlit Flora Suite on page 34-35 of the Catalogue. We got to play with this suite at the Stampin’ Up! On Stage event in Sydney, March 2026. The colours used in the Moonlit Flora DSP are my favourite colours and I’ve made many cards using this suite.

I’ve CASEd the “Sincere Thanks” card in the above graphic and while this is a lovely card I’ve changed the colours and used an exciting new Hot Foil technique.

My card base is Pretty Peacock followed by a layer of Pecan Pie. The next Basic White layer has been Hot Foiled using Copper Foil, the Fern & Flora 3D Embossing Folder and The Reverse Hot Foil Die. Wait what???? You can Hot Foil with an embossing folder???? I was scrolling on Facebook when I stumbled on Mary Ellen Stites video and she was Hot Foiling with embossing folders, my mind was blown!!! I’ve attached her Youtube link to her name above so just click on that. It took me a little while to work out the correct “sandwich” for my Cut & Emboss machine. I basically used the recommended Hot Foil “sandwich” however I replaced the Hot Foil Spacer with my own spacer, a piece of cardboard which comes as a backing board in the pack of Gold Foil Sheets. My only advice is to work out your “sandwich” before you heat up your Hot Foil System.

The fern leaves and flowers have been die cut in Pretty Peacock, Pecan Pie, Lost Lagoon, Secret Sea and Basic White. The sentiment is from the Banner Sayings stamp set and I’ve used the co-ordinating Three Banner Punch to punch it out. I’ve also added a few Dewdrops Embellishments to finish off my project.

Marvi was relaxing on his favourite mat and didn’t even lift his head for a photo. I should know better than to disturb him during “sleepy” time.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing A Bundle from the May-August 2026 Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Julia’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

My inspiration comes from the balloon card in the above graphic. You may need to use your imagination, just a little bit, but I hope you can see my vision.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Barely Blush. The next layer of Basic White has been Hot Foiled with the Starry Night Hot Foil Die using Silver Foil which represents the gold stars in the sample card. Instead of a bunch of balloons I’ve added a bunch of trees.

I also Hot Foiled the Starry Night Die onto some Barely Blush and Pool Party card stock. Then I used the Reverse Hot Foil Die and used the negative of the foil on some Basic White and Pool Party card stock. I’ve then die cut some trees from these pieces using the Holly Jolly Branches Dies. The sentiment is from the Holly Jolly Branches stamp set and is Silver heat Embossed.

Marvi is feeling much better this week, I think the drugs must be working as he’s almost back to his normal self, jumping up onto every bench in the house. I don’t think he could quite believe I’ve made my first Christmas card and it’s still only August.
