Hello and welcome to my blog.  This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing our favourite retiring stamp set.  You may have arrived here from Roses’s gorgeous creation, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

It was a no brainer as to which stamp set I would use.  It’s been a favourite of mine and Marvi’s so I’ve CASEd the card below from page 137 of the Annual Catalogue and used the Pretty Kitty stamp set.

The card base is Bermuda Bay with a small Pool Party border at the bottom.  Then I coloured some Sparkle Glimmer Paper with my Stampin’ Blend and added a border top and bottom.

I’ve stamped the square frames from Swirly Frames directly onto some Wood Textures DSP.  Then using my Memento Black Ink I stamped the Pretty Kitty straight onto some Wooden Frames Elements.

The Kitty’s bows are coloured with a Stampin’ Blend, although the Blend seemed to bleed a little on the wooden elements.  The sentiment is from Pretty Kitty.

I’ll be sad to see this stamp set retire but we still have Nine Lives and the matching punch in the new catalogue.

I’m using a bundle that hasn’t seen much love since I purchased it so for tonight hop I’m using the Floral Frames Bundle.

I’ve CASEd the cute little Mini Gable Box from page 135 of the Occasions Catalogue.

I only had silver Gable Boxes so I carefully undid the adhesive and turned it inside out to get a white Gable Box, then I used my Sponge Brayer to give it some colour with Seaside Spray.

I’ve used all 5 of the new 2019-2021 In Colours.  Pretty Peacock for the sentiment, Terracotta Tile for the flowers, Rococo Rose for the larger leaves and Purple Posy for the smaller leaves.  I think they all work so well together.

Marvi wasn’t too sure about the new door stop or my Mini Gable Box.
