Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s been a very rainy weekend here in Queensland, perfect crafting weather. I’ve finally had a chance to create with some of my free Sale-a-bration products. I’ve used two Sale-a-bration products in my cards this week.

I’ve used some FREE Flower & Field DSP and some FREE Oh So Ombre DSP in my CASE of the card on page 38 of the Mini Catty.

I’ve made two cards this week because I couldn’t decide if I liked the Bermuda Bay or the Rococo Rose side of the Oh So Ombre DSP. Which one is your favourite?

Both cards start with a card base of Thick Whisper White then a layer of Basic Black. I’ve used the Layering Circles to die cut the DSP.

The sentiment is from the Hydrangea Haven stamp set and is stamped in Bermuda Bay ink. I’ve also added a few Woven Thread sequins for a bit of bling.

Marvi was on hand for the photo shoot. Yesterday was his 8th Birthday, he spent a lazy day sleeping on my chair in my craft room.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I hope you had a very Merry Christmas and great New Year. I know Marvi and I did, he’s loved having me home for a week.

This is our first challenge for the year. We are stepping up an annual catalogue project. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

I’ve used the “Your kindness is so appreciated” card on page 70 of the Annual Catalogue as my inspiration but I’ve used products from the new Jan-June 2021 Mini Catalogue. There’s only 2 days to go before you can order from this amazing Catty.

The Sand & Sea Suite was one of the first things on my wish list so I’m using this suite for my CASE today. As I live in Queensland and I’m near the beach, this bundle will get lots of use because of it’s beach/coastal theme.

The card base is Thick Whisper White. The Seaside Spray layer has been embossed with the new Seashells 3D Embossing Folder. I’ve used the co-ordinating Seaside Seashell dies to die cut some foliage in Sahara Sand and Soft Sea Foam.

The clever thing with this suite is that you can stamp the images, die cut them, then emboss them. It all co-ordinates, how cool is that!!! Can you see the embossing on the seashells? I stamped them in Flirty Flamingo (stamped off once), die cut them, then ran them through the embossing folder. I’ve also used some new Blushing Bride 3/8″ Metallic Ribbon. The stamping on the three Whisper White squares and the sentiment are both from the Friends Are Like Seashells stamp set.

Marvi has missed the photo shoots with the cards over the Christmas break. He liked this card so much he pulled off one of the leaves in the top right corner.
