Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we are CASEing our Favourite Retiring Project from the Mini Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve used the Christmas Scottie stamp set and matching punch and combined it with the Lights Aglow SDSP as I haven’t used this cute little dog nearly enough.

I’ve CASEd the card in the top left hand corner of page 34 of the Mini Catalogue.

My card base is Basic Black followed by layers of Very Vanilla and Lights Aglow SDSP. I’ve cut another piece of Very Vanilla and stamped my sentiment at the bottom.

The cute little Scottie Dog is punched from Festive Foils SDSP and I’ve given him a Glimmer Paper Specialty gold bow. I’ve used a retired Black Rhinestone for his eye.

Marvi was not impressed when he saw a dog on my card, his face says it all.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I’ve had another busy weekend in the garden with planting and mulching. All the grass has been removed and we have a lovely lush tropical backyard with no mowing. At least it hasn’t been too hot this weekend.

This week at CASEing the Catty we are CASEing a card from the Annual Catalogue and giving it a Christmas Twist. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I didn’t get very far into the Catty before I found the card I wanted to CASE. I’ve just received the Cup Of Tea Bundle and thought it would be perfect to use for this challenge.

I’ve CASEd the card at the top right of page 12 of the Annual Catalogue and given it a Christmas Twist.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Garden Green card stock. I’ve added another layer of Basic White which I’ve created an embossed line border with my paper trimmer. I’ve stamped several leaves from the Forever Fern stamp set then added a few holly leaves from the Merriest Moments stamp set. I’ve used Garden Green, Cherry Cobbler, Soft Suede and Old Olive inks.

The “tea cup” has a base of Cherry Cobbler with a Boughs of Holly DSP die cut layer over the top. The sentiment is from the Peaceful Deer stamp set and is stamped in Cherry Cobbler. I think this card has a very Australian Christmas feel to it, what do you think?

I interrupted Marvi’s nap time today but at least he opened his eyes for a quick photo. One of the lovely ladies that comes to my card class gave Marvi a new little handmade toy yesterday. I could hear him racing up and down the hall in the middle of the night playing with it.

Hello and welcome to my blog. I’ve spent my weekend helping to build a garden shed on a 30 degree Queensland spring day. I was very thankful to come inside into the air conditioning when we were finished.

This weeks challenge is to CASE the colours of Texture Chic SDSP. The colours are Petal Pink, Mango Melody, Pool Party, Evening Evergreen, Soft Succulent, Soft Suede and Gold. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd a card on page 23 of the Mini Catalogue and I’ve managed to use all of the colours of Texture Chic SDSP.

I love all the layering on this card and I think it looks amazing in the Texture Chic SDSP colours.

My card base is Evening Evergreen and I’ve die cut the Merriest Frames Hybrid Embossing Folder in Soft Succulent. The stamped die cuts are in Evening Evergreen, Soft Suede, Pool Party and Petal Pink. I’ve also added some Texture Chic SDSP, what better way to incorporate the colours.

I went totally out of my comfort zone and stamped the sentiment in Mango Melody. I think a little bit of Mango Melody goes a long way but it works combined with all of the other colours. I’ve also added a couple of Gold Holly Leaves and my go to, For Everything Fancy Sequins.

Marvi was trying to tell me something about my card today. He was quite vocal and every photo I took he had his mouth open telling me what he thought. I’m not sure if it was a good vocal or a bad vocal, what do you think?
