CTC459 – Case The Perennial Lavender Section, Pages 23-31
Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing from the Perennial Lavender Section, Pages 23-31 of the Mini catalogue. I’ve chosen a card on page 26 however I’ve used the Lovely & Sweet Bundle instead of the Easter Lilies Bundle.
My card does look quite a bit different to the sample card but I think you’ll see some resemblance.
My card base is Pebbled Path followed by a layer of Basic White. I’ve stamped the card base with the little background stamp from the Lovely & Sweet stamp set. Next I’ve added a layer of Nature’s Sweetness SDSP then a layer of Vellum card stock. I’ve White Heat Embossed a sentiment form the Thoughtful Expressions stamp set on the Vellum layer.
I’ve die cut the flower/leaf image straight from the Specialty DSP. You’ve got to love it when the dies match the DSP. I’ve added a few White Classic Matte Dots to finish off my card.
I literally made my card while Marvi was sitting on my craft desk. I didn’t have the heart to make him get off, he probably wouldn’t have anyway hahaha. You can just see my Glass Mat underneath him, he really loves laying on it. Maybe it’s nice and cool in this hot weather.
