Hello and welcome to my blog. Unfortunately last week my blog was experiencing technical issues so I couldn’t hop along with the rest of the team. Fingers crossed all is now sorted. I did make a card for the challenge which I’ve added to our Facebook page.

We’re CASEing the Waterside Retreat Suite this week. You may have hopped over from Judy’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the “Have A Great Birthday Dad” card above. Instead of using the Waterside Retreat Suite I’ve used Wild Bunch, which is the latest Product of the Month.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by layers of Basic Black and Country Woods DSP. I’ve stamped four penguins in Black Memento ink then coloured them with Basic Black, Basic Grey and Crushed Curry water colour pencils. I’ve then used a Blender Pen over the top of the water coloured pencil.

I’ve also stamped three small hearts and coloured them with a Flirty Flamingo water colour pencil. The sentiments are also from the Wild Bunch stamp set and are White Heat Embossed.

Marvi was not happy last week because no one got to see him posing with my card. He’s almost as cute as those penguins.

Hello and welcome to my blog. We’re CASEing a bundle from the May-August 2026 Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Judy’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’m CASEing a card from page 36 which uses the Phrases & Frames Bundle.

I’ve changed the colours however kept to the same layout.

My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Lovely & Beautiful Specialty DSP. The frames have been die cut from Gold Foil Sheet using Phrases and Frames Dies together with the Impressions Plate. Adding this plate to your sandwich results in precise die-cut images and detailed embossing.

I’ve added some Mossy Meadow & Gold 1/4″ Trim, Dewdrop Embellishments and Adhesive-Backed Metallic Gems. The sentiment is from the Phrases & Frames stamp set and is stamped in Mossy Meadow.

I must say it looks like Marvi has been less than impressed with my cards lately. He doesn’t even bother to open his eyes, he’s well and truely into his sleeping time, which spans from around 10am to 4.00pm haha.

Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the Bloom Boutique Suite on pages 16 to 19 of the May-August 2026 Catalogue. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve CASEd the Hydrangea Hue card on page 17. I’ve kept to the same layout however I’ve changed the colours slightly.

I decided to use the side of DSP that has the pretty gold flowers instead of the Hydrangea Hue side.

My card base is Hydrangea Hue which has been Gold Heat Embossed with the tiny stars stamp from the Boutique Blossoms stamp set. The next layer is a Barely Blush Scalloped Circle then a Bloom Boutique Specialty DSP Scalloped Circle. Next I stamped the outline of the flowers and leaves in Black Memento ink then coloured them with Hydrangea Hue, Crisp Cantaloupe, Golden Glow and Peaceful Pine using the Boutique Blossoms stamp set.

I’ve cut a banner from some 2026-2028 In Colour Pearlised Specialty Paper then Gold Heat Embossed a sentiment from the Phrases & Frames stamp set. It’s very hard to capture it in my photo but this pearlised paper has a very subtle shimmer and shine to it.

We still have a sleepy Marvi. The weather is getting cooler here in Queensland and he likes to curl up on the outdoor lounge, in the sun.
