Hello and welcome to my blog. It’s Sunday night again which means it’s time for our weekly CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing our favourite Annual Catty Suite. You may have hopped over from Michelle’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I really love the Pansy Petals Suite. I’ve used the card at the bottom of page 28 of the Annual Catalogue as my inspiration.
I decided to turn this layout into a Christmas Card using the Poinsettia Petals stamp set and the co-ordinating Poinsettia Dies.
My card base is Evening Evergreen then I’ve added a couple of Tidings of Christmas DSP pieces over the top of a Square Vellum Doily. The Poinsettia flowers are stamped in Crumb Cake on Basic White card stock.
I’ve also added some Subtle Shimmer Sequins to the centre of my poinsettias. The sentiment is stamped in Evening Evergreen.
Marvi would not look at the camera today. The Be Dazzling sprigs behind the Poinsettias were just too tempting for him.
It’s time to hop over and see Monique’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.
We’d love for you to join our challenge. Click below and send us a request to join then just upload your new creation to the wall.
Thanks for stopping by.

This is a great layout and I love the vellum doily behind the main feature. ANd I love the die cut be Dazzling paper!! What a marvellous way to add some bling. Great card.
I’m a bit dazzled by those gorgeous sprigs, too! Your card is wonderful – this is such a great layout for any card, but the poinsettias look amazing.
Beautiful card, Peta. This layout looks fabulous as a Christmas card and I love that scripty greeting. Cats can be so contrary, can’t they!
Love your Christmas take on this card. I love how you kept the colours subtle. Those sprigs do finish of the card nicely.
I love how you have turned it into a Christmas card! I love the poinsettia’s!
