Hello and welcome to my blog. This week we’re CASEing the Joy Of Christmas Suite, pages 28-31. You may have hopped over from Rachel’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.
I’ve used the “Deck the Halls” card on the left hand side of the above page, as my inspiration.
My card base is Thick Basic White followed by a layer of Winter Meadow DSP. I’ve used the Christmas Classic Dies on a silver and white piece of Snowflake Magic Specialty DSP, you have to look very closely to see the silver pattern on the SDSP. Rather than having this piece square on the card I’ve turned it on its side giving my card a totally different look. I’ve added some stamped holly leaves and coloured them using Pretty Peacock and Pool Party Stampin’ Blends.
The sentiment is from the Christmas Classics stamp set and is White Heat embossed on Lost Lagoon card stock. I’ve added some Silver & White 1/2″ Sheer Ribbon and some Silver Festive Pearls to finish off my card.
Marvi is such a poser, he’ll pose anywhere. Even outside sitting on top of the air-conditioning unit. Don’t you just love the left paw, seconds after this picture was taken my card was on the ground.

Oh, Marvi! How could you treat such a gorgeous card so badly! LOL! Your card is beautiful, I really love the layering, and tilting the main panel was a fabulous idea.
Why shouldn’t holly be shades of blue? It is gorgeous Peta, and the frame looks equally good tilted.
