Stampin' Cat CTC186 Perennial Birthday Graceful Glass

Welcome to this week’s CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  This week our inspiration comes from the Birthday section, pages 66-79 of the Annual Catalogue.   You may have arrived here from Julia’s gorgeous project, thanks for continuing on with me.  Make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of each post.

This week my inspiration comes from the “Happy Birthday” card on page 70 of the Annual Catalogue.

I’ve used the same stamp set, Perennial Birthday, but I’ve used it in different colours.

I’ve layered the Graceful Glass Vellum over a Thick Whisper White card base then added a layer of Coastal Cabana card stock behind my stamped images.

I’ve embossed the greeting in White Embossing Powder on Blueberry Bushel card stock.  The flowers are stamped in Coastal Cabana, Granny Apple Green, Pineapple Punch and Blueberry Bushel.  I’ve also added some Pineapple Punch 1/8″ Grosgrain Ribbon.

CTC185 – Best Route – Pages 52-65

Stampin' Cat CTC 185 Animal Outing Stained Glass

Hello and welcome to my blog.  Sunday is here again and that means it’s time for CASEing the Catty Blog Hop.  This week we are CASEing the Best Route section, pages 52-65.

CTC185

We are a group of demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to take inspiration from our Stampin’ Up! catalogues.  We CASE (copy and selectively edit) a layout, a colour palette or a whole card, the choice is yours.  You may have come from Julia, thanks for continuing on with me.

The card on page 63 of the annual catalogue caught my eye.

I’ve used my Animal Outing stamp set for tonight’s card.  I just love giraffes so I’ve replaced the hanging pots with a giraffe.

My card base is Basic Black with layers of Old Olive and Very Vanilla.  I’ve used a die from Stained Glass Thinlits to create the black pattern behind the giraffe. The Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets were perfect for adhering this.

The giraffe has been coloured with Stampin’ Write markers.  I’ve added some Burlap ribbon and some retired Old Olive Sheer ribbon behind the giraffe.  The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings.

My lovely assistant Marvi was on hand to help with the photography.  I think he was just checking to see if I’d used another cat on this weeks card.

Next up tonight is the very talented Kelly.  Click on the next button to hop on over.
