Hello and welcome to my blog. Sunday is here again and that means it’s time for CASEing the Catty Blog Hop. This week we are CASEing the Best Route section, pages 52-65.
We are a group of demonstrators from Australia and New Zealand who love to take inspiration from our Stampin’ Up! catalogues. We CASE (copy and selectively edit) a layout, a colour palette or a whole card, the choice is yours. You may have come from Julia, thanks for continuing on with me.
The card on page 63 of the annual catalogue caught my eye.
I’ve used my Animal Outing stamp set for tonight’s card. I just love giraffes so I’ve replaced the hanging pots with a giraffe.
My card base is Basic Black with layers of Old Olive and Very Vanilla. I’ve used a die from Stained Glass Thinlits to create the black pattern behind the giraffe. The Multipurpose Adhesive Sheets were perfect for adhering this.
The giraffe has been coloured with Stampin’ Write markers. I’ve added some Burlap ribbon and some retired Old Olive Sheer ribbon behind the giraffe. The sentiment is from Itty Bitty Greetings.
My lovely assistant Marvi was on hand to help with the photography. I think he was just checking to see if I’d used another cat on this weeks card.
Next up tonight is the very talented Kelly. Click on the next button to hop on over.

I love how you have used the framelits to create the enclosure for the giraffe.
Oh Marvi, you are so handsome!! Love the giraffe on your card!!
OH that’s a great CASE. Love the feature panel in front of the vellum.I looked past that card because I couldn;t work out what else could go in front- guess I wasn;t thinking laterally enough. this looks great, and i love the green ribbon that looks like he would just much on that next!!
I love the changeover from plants to the giraffe. This is a gorgeous card. I love the painted glass elements in the background.
Great card Peta and love the way you’ve used the thinlits x
Super fun card Peta – the change from flowers to giraffe gives this card a whole different look! Kelly x
