Hello and welcome to my blog. This week at CASEing the Catty we’re CASEing our Favourite Annual Catalogue Stamp Set. You may have hopped over from Rebecca’s blog, make sure you visit all the Design Team’s Blogs by clicking on the “next” button at the bottom of the post.

I’ve chosen a card layout from page 134-135 of the Annual Catalogue which uses my favourite stamp sets, Gallery Blooms and Beautiful Motifs.

Initially I decided on the Basic Grey and Basic Black version of the card but I found I needed to add a little bit of colour and some texture.

My card base is Basic Grey which has been stamped in Versamark with the floral stamp from the Gallery Blooms stamp set. The next layer is a strip of Beautiful Gallery DSP, I’ve chosen a very subtle pattern. I’ve stamped the large flowers on a piece of Basic White using Memento Black ink. Next I’ve die cut a Silver Foil frame using the Gallery Blooms Dies then I’ve added some texture with the Damask Designs Embossing Folder. I’ve also added a small strip of Basic Black on the right hand side of the foil frame.

The flowers are stamped in Lost Lagoon then die cut with the co-ordinating dies, Gallery Blooms Dies. I’ve also die cut a few leaves from the reverse side of the Beautiful Galley DSP strip I used. The sentiment is from the Beautiful Motifs stamp set and is stamped in Calypso Coral. To add a little bit of bling I found some 2025-2027 In Colour Flat Pearls, which seem to work well with the colours of my card.

Marvi was asleep under my craft desk. He didn’t seem very enthusiastic about my card, he didn’t even lift his head off the carpet.
It’s time to hop over and see Monique’s wonderful creation. Just click on the next button below.

I had completely missed this sample in the catalogue! I do see quite a few of us had the same favourite stamp set! Love your version.
